If you purchase this product you can rest easy at night. It takes about 20 minutes to assemble but the instructions are clear. Very sturdy and the fold down feature is a great option. Very convenient if you need to move it from bed to bed.

The media could not be loaded. I would recommend for a bed if needed. Should know that there is a small gap between the bed and the rail. So I would be careful with small newborn babies. I have a 4 year old which is obviously fine with the gate but my 2 month old and i wouldnt feel comfortable putting him right next to it until he was older but it works great as a gate/rail. Keeps us from falling off the bed which is what its for. ... show more

It is made very well and it does its job. However, I feel like it needs to made a bit longer when used on a normal bed, ( would be fine for a youth bed). I bought this to use when my grandson was visiting. I thought it would be simple and self explanatory to assemble, it was not.

First off, the instructions were incorrect and is shown in illustrations only and was provided the manual for the 48 inch instead of the 32 inch I ordered. I received a message from the seller stating that there was a mix up and was referenced to go to the video on the homepage. However, I did not and tried it my way to “build without looking at instructions” first - the lazy and confident way. To my surprise, it was super easy and self explanatory! I do enjoy this product but here are my thoughts in a nutshell. The pros: -Easy to install without a manual -Neutral color so it is not an eyesore; looks stylish for a baby rail. Cute mesh with a “window” like appearance -Not bulky or heavy but sturdy so that my babies can’t plop onto the mesh with their weight -Safety; Peace of mind to leave them alone for a few minutes without having them fall Cons: -You need two hands to push the buttons on each side to lower down the rail which isn’t a big deal but noting it -the 32inch is on the smaller side so I needed to purchase a 2nd one to fit one side of my queen bed side by side Other than that, I would highly purchase again (as I did for my second one). It is light enough and flat enough to store away underneath the bed. I could even carry the whole thing with one hand once assembled. 💪🏻 but safe enough to the trust that my babies are kept safe in mommy’s bed. ... show more

Overall this product is good. The fabric has a lot of give and I often find pillows pushing into the space between the rail and the bed. I got it to keep my dog off the bed at night (he likes to sneak on the bed and steal my space after I fall asleep). Serves its purpose but I would not use this for a child. I’d be afraid the child could roll into the gap since the fabric stretches so much. ... show more

My husband and I love this product. We moved our toddler into her big girl bed. Before this purchase we struggled with her getting in and out of bed. After installing this, it not only makes sure she doesn't fall out, but she knows it's bedtime and she's to stay in bed.
