  • Easy and Attractive. Made my trip to Egypt more comfortable
Size: 9.5 Color: Purple
This was my first purchase of a "lace-less" athletic shoe. I added Dr. Scholl's arch-support insoles due to my high arches. I wore them brand-new on a 2-week trip to Egypt with a lot of walking. They were very comfortable and supportive, as well as stretchy over the top of my foot (where I often experience rubbing from shoes with a tongue/laces). They have been very easy to clean and still look brand-new. I have also received many compliments on the appearance and color. I do plan to wear this style of shoe in perpetuity. ... show more

  • Wow!
OK. I don't usually write reviews, but I have to write one for this one. I wore these to quilt on a long-arm quilt machine, which forced me to stand for hours. Last week, I stood for 4 1/2 hours straight, quilting, and I felt great afterward. These shoes provided better support than pairs of Nikes, Merrills, and others I bought in search of comfort. However, I have one thing to point out. These seem to run wide or long. I wear between 6 1/2 and 7, and I ordered a pair in 6 1/2. They fit great except my feet slide a bit when I'm walking down hill. Also, I had to get used to the feeling that I had enough room side to side as well. But my feet didn't roll, and I got an awesome support. These shoes really surprised me for the price I paid. 4/16/24 update I don't usually review products, but I must for this one. I just returned from a trip abroad, and I walked ~155,000 steps in 8 days. Between 60% and 70% of those steps were taken in these shoes. I had a pair of Merrills ($120) and a pair of Keens ($95) with me. But I spent most of my time wearing this pair ($37). But before I wholeheartedly recommend this pair of shoes, I must point out a few things. I wear a size 6.5 or 7 shoes, but after reading several reviews, I ordered 6.5. The shoes are not too small, but sometimes, when I walk down a steep hill, my toes are very close to the front. This pair of shoes runs wide for me. I don't particularly have narrow feet, but I think the 6.5s work for me because these are a little wider. I tend to walk on my heels and roll my ankles, and I've done that in these shoes. However, I don't roll my ankles in Merrill hiking shoes or Keen sandals. Yet, I spent 60% - 70% of my ~155,000 steps (8 days) in these shoes. I am now considering getting another pair in a different color, and on my next trip, I will leave my Merrills (the heaviest shoes) behind and just take these and my Keens. ... show more

  • Great shoe, sizing off
Size: 6 Color: Black
I primarily bought this shoe due to an ongoing ankle injury requiring a corrective boot/cast. The shoe height is perfect and very comfortable but I’m a classic size six and the STQ was tight (occasionally I’m a 5.5 but never a 6.5). So I ordered the 6.5 (but kept the 6) and they were really huge, more like a 7. When I compared the 6 with the 6.5, the latter was at least an inch longer and wider. So I ended up stuffing socks in the 6s to stretch them out and that worked. The best part of this shoe is it also works for my damaged ankle (when out of the boot) for its support and stretchy top to fit my hideous swollen cankle! ... show more

  • So comfortable
Size: 8.5 Color: Purple
I was a little nervous getting shoes of line. You never know what you are gonna get. But these turned out great! I love the look of them. They are breathable, Fitting but not to tight, Stretchy, supportive. I work long hours on my feet and they are perfect for that.

  • Just okay sneaker
Size: 6 Color: Black
These are just okay, but way better than many I've tried. I have a high arch, so I will say these suffice for that! But with a high arch comes the challenge of finding the rest of the shoe fitting. I feel they are a bit loose on my foot, and unfortunately must choose to wear a thicker sock if I want them to fit firmly. That is not the best in the summer but it could just be due to the soft flexible fabric all around including the top of the foot and in the ankle. Not a fan of fabric sneakers at all. Or they could run slightly big. I am a size 6 and purchased my size. I definitely feel there is an awkward learning curve to walking in them. Almost as if you have to learn how to walk again. I can't explain it. But, once you get used to them, they're fine and don't have to think about it anymore. Even now when I switch back and forth from other sneakers to these for my walks I don't at all notice the difference. If they were a bit snugger, I think I would love them more. They are holding up very well! I have used them for several months walking 1-3 or more miles at a time on the pavement and concrete sidewalks without experiencing heel pain (which is outstanding for me). I typically can't wear sneakers for more than just a few months without feeling like their support has expired. I don't think that I would buy them again, but if I can't find something else better I will come back to them. ... show more

  • BUY THESE!!!
Size: 9.5 Color: Light Taupe
I purchased 2 pairs of these style of shoes from another company and manufacturer here on Amazon. I really wanted a beige pair and this other manufacturer did not offer that color, so I found these. BUY THESE ONES!! Spend the $12.00 more and by these. The comfort level in these are superior!! They have true non-slip soles. The elastic webbing around the entire top of this shoe - from side to side - actaully hold my foot in, whereas, the other ones that I purchased do not have the webbing across the entire foot and I feel like I will walk right out of them. And because these fit so well across the top of my foot - it feel like it keeps my foot securly in place without sliding forward with every step I take. The sizing is perfect. I normally wear an 9-9.5 and I purchased the 9.5. I can wear normal socks with them, and I do belive that I can wear thick winter socks also and my feet will still fit in these shoes because of the stretchy top of these shoes. These were not delivered in some vacuum sealed plastic bag but in an actual box, so the shoes were not crushed, which I appreciate. I am seriously considering returning the other two pairs I purchased and buying these in the colors I wanted. These ones are worth the extra money. I will be wearing these daily except when the weather is too cold or too wet this winter. My new favorite shoe! ... show more
