These are literally made for makeup storage! Pretty much all brands fit, as far as lip liners, eye pencils, brow, mascaras, and liquid lipsticks are concerned. Mine are inside clear acrylic drawers. (BINO bins pictured.) Sleek design, and crystal clear like glass. I now know how I will store my huge collection of colored sharpies and those small office thingies in my desk. Being stackable will be an added bonus. These are sturdy without having unnecessary extra bulk. One vertical equals two horizontal with no gap or one being too short or too long, unlike others I've tried. It took a bit for find the perfect ones and these are it! Beautiful. I have bought a few other sorters but I always come back to these. At this point I've probably bought six or more sets. In my opinion these are the most functional and aesthetically pleasing organizers. They are available in a variety of useful sizes. I find the 6x3 the most useful by but I also have some of the 3x3, 9x3 and 6x6. I also like that they stack should you need to stack them and to maximize space. Furthermore, the sizes tend to create clean grids with no wasted space when placed side by side. Finally, I can not over state how much I am a huge fan of the clarity of the plastic, it just looks clean and crisp. One downside is that they are not particularly sturdy. I've only cracked a couple when I had them out of the drawers and I dropped/crushed them. I really don't think any other brand of plastic organizer is that much better. ... show more

Admittedly, I am an organization freak. I do not believe in "junk drawers" or "catch-all tables." These affordable acrylic containers are the best organizers I have ever purchased! The transparency allows you to easily see everything in the container. Because the containers are solid, small items will not "disappear" through or get stuck in slat openings or other similar gaps commonly found on my organization bins. Contact paper, wallpaper, gift wrap, and the like, can easily be adhered to the smooth surface of the containers, if decoration is more important to you than visibility. The various sizes can be mixed and matched for a customized fit. The stacking feature of the containers saves space; however, only small items will fit in a container if another is stacked on top of it. I don't find this to be a problem, though. I use bottom containers for such things as bobby pins, hair pins, safety pins, extra buttons, sewing needles, tooth picks, band-aids, etc. These organizers are extremely sturdy, so it is unlikely one will ever need to be replaced due to damage. I wish I had discovered these drawer organizers many years ago! ... show more

I bought 6 types of desk organizers on Amazon and of all of them these were second best. They are sturdy and nice looking but I was using for my desk and they don’t fit what I needed them to. I have a lot of stationary and wanted to fit 2 to the depth of my drawer which worked great except the bottom of the container is slightly more narrow for stacking and some pens didn’t fit. For instance both ultra thin and thin sharpies fit fine. But the bic mechanical pencils, any type of click pen wouldn’t lay flat therefore taking up way more space in the organizer. These need to be just 1/4 longer and would work perfect! In the photo above I mixed two types of organizers to fit my click pens. ... show more

I honestly cannot say enough good things about these organizers. I have them in nearly every drawer in my house and in my classroom. It you measure carefully you will likely get a perfect fit.
