This stuff is great! If there's any adhesive residue on anything, this will remove it. Be careful though, it does not play nice with some materials and will eat away and/or disinitegrate some plastics. I had a can of this for almost 12 years, and when it ran out, I was over the moon happy that they were still making this! I almost use it exclusively for removing adhesive from new products (think new items with annoying stickers that don't peel off) and permanent marker that needs to be removed. I needed something to help remove a 100% silicone caulk from stained wood cabinet. Although this did not completely remove the silicone, it was better than everything I tried before. With that said, I am totally pleased with he product even though I have not used it for any other application as of yet. I can't even...this stuff is amazing! After foolishly leaving lipstick in the laundry, I ruined my sons brand new and favorite school shirt. I desperately searched for a solution and came across the great reviews for Xenit. The shirt is made of that silky, athletic material. I sprayed Xenit on a washcloth and scrubbed the spots. I needed to put down safety tape in a machine shop...the black and yellow kind. Sprayed this on the area I was going to lay the adhesive safety tape, wiped area with paper towel...repeated this once more...waited five minutes for any remainder of production floor to dry. Laid adhesive safety tape on floor. Safety tape I installed has been on a heavily traveled area in the shop. Been there since July of 2015 and still holding strong. This is my "go to" can for removing stains, scuffs, adhesive, etc. from a variety of surfaces...most of them in my car. If this cannot remove it, then I know it is unlikely to be removed by anything else. I have never had it damage anything either, although I probably wouldn't use it in carpet or other fabric I could not rinse out. I've been using this product since about 2003 with no problems I'd like to add that I have found this to be stronger and safer than both Goof Off and Oops. For example, those will readily dissolve plastic but I have not had Xenit do that ... show more
