I love the design, though I had a bit of trouble placing it— they give you two, so points for that. Loved it for a month and had it on my keychain, made me feel safer walking in the dark and stuff. After a month of use, the pin got like, loose? It started falling off and, thus sounding a (to its credit) very LOUD and irritating alarm. Best suited for stationary use like keeping in a car, but I feel like most people would want to keep it on a keychain, so that’s something to keep in mind, that after only a month the pin becomes a LOT easier to accidentally dislodge. The product itself is well made and delivers as far as the glass breaker, seatbelt cutter and noise-level features. For the seller to charge extra for the fancier design, however, is ridiculous because they achieve different designs via cheap stickers that, as you can see from the photo, are doomed to failure. The stickers will peel off. A better value would be for this company to sell the product with a set of stickers of different designs that the customer could replace as each one fails and falls off. I got this as a gift for someone who needed it because they often walk to their vehicle at night unaccompanied. We think the noise level is loud enough to at least scare off a perpetrator, but we aren't sure it's loud enough to attract help from security officers at my friend's workplace. ... show more

Sound wouldn’t turn off. Incredibly hard to remove pin as well. Design is a sticker you apply yourself. Poor design.

It does not come made with the design on it, you peel a sticker off and stick it to the device. It is not noisy, at all. It barely startled my animals when I pulled the pin to test it. It is heavy and bulky. Going to test it on my keychain for a while to see if I can tolerate it.
