Mine doesn’t last more than 6 hours, which is disappointing. On the other hand I haven’t found anything better and am still looking for a longer lasting lipstick.

I wanted a lipstick with more staying power that didn't dry out my lips, so this looked like it fit the bill. I bought two shades: Bellisima and Amore. I read about Bellisima in Allure magazine and the article said something about this color looking very natural and sexy, making the perfect nude lip, like on the Italian beauties from movies of the 60's. Well, on me, I am olive toned and brunette, it washed out my coloring and is quite unnatural looking. I did like the staying power, and was not too dry (okay, sometimes you just need a little balm over it), so I bought the Amore. Alone, it can be too dark, except for going out with my husband to dinner. It looks best when slightly worn off like after you've eaten. But I wanted something more versatile. Don't ask me how, but I got the idea of mixing Bellisima and Amore for the perfect shade. It actually works. I put the darker color on the top lip, using the tip to outline the peaks of the lips then fill in the whole top lip, then right away apply the lighter color on the bottom lip then smush the lips together quickly. At times it will come out darker, and other times, lighter. Kind of fun that you never know what you are going to get. But it does make a most interesting color which has depth. I also just ordered the Patina to hopefully wear this alone, thanks to another reviewer who loves that color and has similar coloring. So I love Stila and have used it for a long time. I normally go with a bright red with bluish undertones but decided to do a more pale purple no go with my hair. It does not disappoint. You don’t need much for full coverage and it really does last all day with no stickiness or tackiness. Yeah it’s pricy but it’s really worth it ... show more

Very interesting lipgloss/stick. A lot darker than I thought, so it comes down to putting on lightly and layering it. Kind of thick. Definitely takes a bit to get used to. And...it TINGLES when I put it on. I think I must've read every review on these glosses as I'm really tired of buying make-up esp lipglosses and having a graveyard drawer full that just didn't work out that I end of giving away before they go bad completely. So, I truly spend a lot of time reading about this product. On me it tingles. However, that being said, it's still a wonderful product. Great coverage. Stays on me not other items. It did dry quickly on me. I had a couple of boo-boos where I needed to correct my lines. So I barely wetted my finger and lightly rubbed my lip and boom! Away I went. A happy camper. I like product. Will continue to use before I buy another just to be sure! Of course, Amazon has great shipping. LOVE my Amazon! I personally love Stila make-up for lips and eyes. That's all I've used. Tried a couple of other products and didn't like them. So, I'll stick with what works. I did try the mascara's and WOW! Got two different kinds, and liked both. I absolutely love everything about this gloss. It’s pigmentation gives a high pay-off, it glides on real thick and just stays put-ish and the container is super elegant. I get complimented a lot when I whip it out to use😌. Just get it, don’t over-think it.
