We ordered this as a christmas gift for my husband's nephew in New York. He loves his uncle (who owns a tree service). This is "just like" the chainsaw he uses in the tree service so his nephew was very tickled with his gift. Didn't see this in person but family said it was great!

    • Kid loved it but...
I debated giving it 3 or 4 stars but did 4 because my 9 year old loves it. It was a little expensive but my son loved having something close to a real chainsaw. He is into landscaping majorly and loves the stihl brand so this was perfect, at first. He got it on Christmas and went around the house all day with it. On the second or third day, the pull cord broke off. That was the best part of the toy and now it's broken. He likes being able to switch out the fake chains but the end piece uses a tiny screw that if dropped or lost, good luck finding it. It comes with a tool to undo one of the screws but then need your own screw driver for the tiny one. He still loves the toy but ever since the pull cord broke off, he doesn't walk around with it as much now. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’m so glad I spent a little extra on this very nice chainsaw toy! It sounds and looks so realistic when I sent this video to my wife (who was out of town) she freaked out like I had a real chainsaw in the house near our dog! The look, the sounds, everything is perfect! I’ll be playing with it for a few weeks before my godson‘s birthday! 8-) ... show more

    • Stopped working after a week
The connections on the controller/chip kept disconnecting so the chain motor wouldn’t engage. After taking it apart and reconnecting multiple times, the contacts on the chip broke off. It makes noises but won’t spin the chain.
