  • Easy to put together
Cheaply made. Not happy with the quality. Easy to put together. Indifferent about it.

  • Nice house but instructions are lacking.
The house is nice but the instructions are terrible. There are no words just pictures. The pictures are so dark, cropped and small you're left guessing as to what detail of the house is being shown. After assembling mine, I recommend not securing the roof ridge panel in step nine until all three roof panels are first fitted into place as there are holes and pegs that need to get lined up. Once all the pegs are fit together and all three roof panels are tight and not sagging I would secure the two side panels first (from inside the house) and then the ridge panel last from outside. A second set of hands would be useful to push down and help keep the parts aligned while you're inside attaching the screws. As others have stated there aren't any pre-drilled holes, just small indents to show where the screws go, but that shouldn't be a problem if you use an electric screwdriver on the lowest torque setting possible. Just be careful not to over tighten. Also, others have stated that the door bell does not fit in the provided cutout. I did not find this to be the case. Mine fit perfectly. Perhaps they corrected this issue in later models. All in all I'm happy with the assembled product. It appears sturdy and should give my granddaughter hours of fun. ... show more

  • Cute but very difficult to assemble
The playhouse is very cute; HOWEVER, Step 2 has the worse instructions and things don’t fit like it’s stated. Plus we did not get any stickers. Took me about 2 hours to put together. You will need assistance when putting together. I hope Step 2 sends the stickers

  • Good vs Bad
I did a lot of research on these playhouses before purchasing one for my daughter. Here are some pro's and con's. Pro: Cute. You can't deny this is very cute and LOOKS well made. :) Sturdy. It does feel sturdy and I don't worry about my daughter playing inside. Delivery was great. Con: You need a PhD in engineering to put this guy together. Looks simple from the outset, but it's not. The instructions are ridiculous. There are missing pilot holes, so you're manually running a screw through thick plastic (wondering the whole time if you're doing it correctly, because again - there are MISSING pilot holes). There are places where the peg/hole situation is terribly misaligned. To the point where you start to question whether you have done something very wrong - except you haven't. Even the doorbell - which should be simple to snap into place, and screw in. Nope - the pilot hole that was drilled was smaller than the diameter of the actual doorbell contraption (joke's on you), and then after finally forcing it into place, the screw holes did not line up (i use the term "holes" loosely because you had to, again, manually screw these in). Eventually I gave up on screwing the roof on, and well as screwing the doorbell in, because things were not lining up and my arms were sore from wrestling with it. I would have taken pictures but my patience with this entire activity was used up after a few hours. I would expect this kind of craftsmanship from a less expensive model. I deliberately bought something in a higher price range to avoid it. :( Be cautioned that this will take some elbow grease, some ingenuity, brute strength and possibly anger management to put together. Otherwise it's cute. ... show more

  • Adorable, fun, and memorable!
Such an adorable little play house! Fits in our living room (because why would you put such an expensive playhouse outside to be ruined by dirty/weather) and is just so much fun for our 3 year old! I bought this one specifically even though it is more expensive than other playhouses because of the working doorbell! The working phone is also a bonus and both make the pretend play even more fun for little ones! It is very sturdy and nicely made. While other people said the house was difficult to put together, you do need someone strong and who knows what they’re doing how to build things. The instructions aren’t wonderful but my daughters dad is very good at building and putting things together so honestly I wouldn’t be put off if you have someone that is very good at building things because it isn’t hard at all. The house is very girly and a great choice for your little princess! ... show more

  • Grandpa Earned LOTS of points for this birthday present.
My 4 year old & 2 year old grand daughters absolutely love the playhouse. I assembled the playhouse by myself in a few hours. It went together easily. It is important to take time to study and understand the different pieces and how it all fits together before beginning assembly. Step-by-step instructions are simple photos with some parts clearly identified. Beginning the assembly process before understanding how it fits together could easily result in "some dis-assembly" followed by "re-assembly" and plenty of frustration. I constructed a wooden platform / floor for the playhouse, extending the platform to include a front porch. The platform is supported by 2" thick concrete blocks at the corners which keeps the wood off the ground and enabled me to level and stabilize the platform and playhouse. ... show more

  • Perfect house for little ones
This is a cute house for our 2 year granddaughters birthday that she has been playing with nonstop with her 4 year old brother. It went together fairly easily since my husband is good at this. The directions aren’t great but it took us longer to figure out where the decals went. It did arrive with a small dent in one of shutters but not a huge deal. This house reminds me a lot of the one we bought for our daughter 30 years ago. I’m sure the kids will have years of fun in it. After looking at many options we finally decided on this one and don’t regret it. ... show more
