This keyboard is insanely nice and high quality, the brightness of the RGB is really bright and the durability is really good. The size of the mini makes it so that it can fit on my desk giving space to my mouse. The only reason that I'm returning this keyboard was because the switches just weren't the right ones for me and I decided I would replace the apex pro mini with the Asus rog azoth 75% with the red switches. ... show more

This device worked great with a Xbox, but would not work with the PS4 that we bought it for. We had to return the keyboard, but it was not the keyboards fault, The keyboard is great for gaming being small and easy to to use. the lights on it make it easy to use the keys for the motions of the game.     • Great Keyboard with not so great software/LED's
Being my first mini keyboard like this, it took a while to get used to. But once I did, I really enjoyed the typing experience of the keys and the feel of them as well. The keyboard feels well built, the nice click of the keys is great, and the RGB in general is fine. It does not have a great battery life , even with lowering the color to a dimmer amount. There is no simple "brightness" control in software. Keyboard seems to work best when it's without its software. You are able to use it without, using the function type sub key selection. You can adjust the brightness this way, but is rather limiting in steps. I've only had the keyboard a short while and already there seems to be issues with one of the LED's. One of them seems to change colors back and forth from the set color, and appear off from others. It's probably only been about a month or so, so seeing this so soon isn't a great sign. Despite its very different design than I'm used to, I really do enjoy this wireless keyboard. But with the software issues and LED issues, I really don't think it can justify its price. If you can get it for under $160, it might be worth it for you. It however is not worth anywhere near the $240 asking price for list. ... show more

    • Keyboard died less than 1.5 years after purchasing it
I bought this keyboard as my first ever smaller-sized gaming keyboard. It was also the first more premium keyboard I ever purchased. I went with steelseries as I already had an Aerox 3 wireless mouse from them, the QcK prism XL cloth, and a headset from them. I loved all those products and I never had any issues with them. I decided to get a steelseries keyboard since I never had any issues with any of their products before and I just wanted to remain within the same ecosystem for their GG software to control RGB etc... I absolutely loved the keyboard! It was extremely high quality and great for gaming and I loved the wireless aspect of it. I have only owned this keyboard for 1 year and 3 months and the keyboard just completely doesn't work anymore. I have tried everything I could to fix it and went through all the troubleshooting guides on steelseries' website. Essentially, when I plug it in via USB it will quickly light up all the keys on the keyboard for a split second and then instantly turn back off. It refuses to hold a charge or connect to my PC. I have also tried it on my Mac computers and it does the same thing. I reached out to Steelseries customer support this week to see what they would say. They asked me to send them a video showing what the keyboard was doing so they could help me out. I did this and they didn't even come back with any steps on how to fix this they instantly prompted me to start a warranty claim with them and told me they would send me a brand new keyboard replacement to me. I provided all the info the rep asked for in order to get the warranty claim started. He then came back stating that since it is past the 1 year warranty mark they are unable to do anything for me. Let it be noted that I started off the support ticket by saying I purchased this keyboard almost 2 years ago as I didn't look up the exact date when I purchased it. However, I knew it was over a year. Just frustrating when the rep knew that yet had me provide all the details to get a brand new one and then once I provide that info just instantly shuts me down. I love steelseries products but after this experience, I don't think I will ever be buying another one of their products. I just have a bad taste in my mouth after spending almost $200 on a keyboard for it to last a little over one year and then the company not do anything about it. Well-constructed and sturdy from quality materials. Rapid trigger function works exactly as advertised. The software is a tad encumbersome and could be more intuitive, but you only need to deal with it once - it's set and forget. The Wooting 60E is the market's best rapid-trigger keyboard, but this SteelSewries keyboard plenty good, and is available with no wait time. This is the most unique keyboard I have ever used. It comes with loads of amazing features and it is the fastest keyboard I ever used. Once I started using this keyboard I couldn't get used to a normal keyboard due to the heavy delay I notice with the input.
