However, I will return this item due to: -The wooden plate is not even, so it rocks back and forth. -The actual size of the dish is not quite as described. The title of the item is "Staub Rectangular Serving Dish w/ Wooden Plate, Black Matte, 15 x 9 - Black Matte" but there are NOT any size meet 15 x 9. The dish size is 12" (including both handles) x 8.25" and 12.75" x 8.75" with wood stand. - There is a very small light chip-off at the edge of the dish. ... show more

Bought this to make Japanese (rolled) omelets. Haven't used it yet but did throw it on the grill for veggie burgers. They turned out fine and cleaned up easily.
