Ive been able to use these speaker stands on 4 separate occasions so far and have had good results overall. They hold the weight they claim but do sway a little more than I would like with heavier speakers still within their threshold. I have had worse performance out of much more expensive stands so this is a non issue. However, The cap on the top of the extension pole keeps getting stuck in the bottom of the speaker and causes the heavy speaker to get stuck on the stand. This makes it VERY difficult if not impossible to remove the speaker by myself and have had to get help everytime. Without the cap installed the stand becomes more unstable so I have to use it and deal with it so far. The leg joints bend very easily as well so be careful nudging them one way or another if the speaker is already installed. I have already bent one just by simply trying to move it an inch. Other than the cap and the thin joint supports, these are VERY much worth the money, you just have to be careful with them as they are lightweight. I would get another set to use as backup if needed, no hesitation at this price point. I do believe better quality control and perhaps stronger support joists would make these more of a no brainer and I wouldn't feel I should have a backup set just in case. ... show more

The base is really wide and the material is very solid. I put a 12” PA speaker on this and it held up perfectly. I bought a cheaper brand as well and the same speaker mounted on the cheaper one was wobbling in the wind. I’ll be returning the cheap one and getting another one of these!
