I purchased this to go along with my new DJI Mini 4 Pro. When I received it I thought it may be too small, as the drone only has ~6” on either side of free space. So I ordered a larger “pop out” spring loaded 40” landing pad to compare. What surprised me was that my drone homed in on and landed exactly in the center of this pad, while it would miss the big one by 6 feet. That’s when I suspected that the ring in the larger “pop out” pad may be metal & interfering with the drone’s compass. I grabbed a magnet & sure enough, the ring was steel & I’m certain that that was what was causing my problems with that one. My fear that this landing pad was too small was unfounded, the sensors in the Mini 4 Pro bring the drone back to the pad almost every time, even if the RTH spot has drifted a bit, & there is not metal in this pad to interfere with the compass. To be honest, it keep surprising me how well the drone does it. This pad is compact & can slide into the side pocket of the fly more combo bag, though it makes things inside really tight to do that, so I just keep it separate. The material is durable, & it doesn’t seem to have any “memory effect” from being folded, it lays flat when it’s unflolded. The product is as described. I like the description of size and which aircraft the size suits best. It is a perfect fit. Very durable and easily portable. I like the durable spikes as well. I thought they would be flimsy, but they are tough. I also like the contrasting flip sides.... great for what ever color surface you need it. If I ever need another one, I won't waste time search and immediately come back to this product. ... show more

I like that this fold up easily and compactly. It's crucial for field work where you can keep your propellers from hitting uneven grass blades or weeds or other obstacles that could kick up dust or dirt.
