This mica is so beautiful as a nice added shimmer to my soap, bath bombs, bubble bars, and a little sprinkle on top of my sugar scrubs. I was lucky enough to get my hands on this beauty during the testing phase. I couldn't get enough of it. I was very happy when it was finally released. I have also added a little bit to my titanium dioxide and it turned out to be the brightest, shimmery, silver/white that I have ever seen in soaping, I was pleasantly surprised. This is my go-to if my products just need a little bit more pretty!! This mica disperses very well in oils and in powders. No extra work needed!! ... show more

Ok so I bought this because I wanted to make mini potions and mix the mica powder into the “potions” and it did work but you just have to shake up the bottles every now and then. I think the only “bad” thing I could say is this this stuff is EXTREMELY messy! Although I already expected that so it’s not a huge deal for me but if any parents are buying this for their little ones be prepared to have glittery kids and a glittery house for the next few weeks! There are a lot of great uses for this powder, but perhaps my favorite application is blending it with ceramic glue and using it for kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with seams of gold. As advertised, this is a very fine powder, so take care when using it since it can get all over. I recommend a) putting down newspaper or another covering before use, and b) using a tiny spoon, paintbrush, or Q-tips to apply it or mix it with other substances. ... show more

Upon opening, I loved this color. I wanted a shimmer to add to my lotion for a glowing, yet subtle until you’re up close effect, and wow, did this do the job.
