The first thing I will say is obviously these lights are made very cheap. That being said, they are pretty bright and I think they will last me awhile. They’re a little difficult to work with in the sense that they get tangled up VERY easily. I had to lay them out flat along the floor as I put them in my decorative tree. They take 3 batteries and DO NOT have a timer. I didn’t expect one, though as I have similar lights before and generally just leave them on for long amounts of time and just change the batteries as needed. These lights were super cute to put in my son's play tent. They are just the right level of warm brightness to bring a "fairy glow". Only downside is I cracked the case where the batteries go when I opened it to put batteries in because the plastic is very flimsy, but it still works fine!

They’re very bright. Only lasted about 3 weeks before the cord snapped with my 6 year old so I wouldn’t say these are durable or good for kids. Also they suck up your batteries very quickly if you leave them on for hours at night. Changed the barriers about once a week with nightly use. These are cute and easy to set up BUT they stopped working properly after I have had them for only three weeks. I have changed the batteries a few times to see if that fixes the flickering issue but it doesn't. Save your money and get a better quality light set.
