Decided to see what all the fuss was about. These are nice, and I enjoy mine. I don't find it as easy to carry around all the time, so I use it mostly at home. It is not leakproof and I don't always like having the drinking end of the straw exposed. As much as I like it, my choice for water bottle when out and about is the Bubba 40 oz w/the folding straw opening. I think it is also better at keeping drinks icy cold than the Stanley. Overall, a good product. But not sure if worth the hype. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Disadvantages of a Gloss Deco Stanley Cup (assuming it's a special edition Stanley Cup): Higher Cost: Special edition Stanley Cups tend to be more expensive than regular ones, as the one I got was $69.99. (really expensive) Though, I did get the fast delivery, which was why it was more expensive. I recommend that if this is your first time, you should go for the cheaper options. Limited Availability: These cups may be produced in limited quantities, making them harder to find and potentially driving the price up further soon enough, and it’s especially a problem if the Stanley is in the state of a high price. (As I bought my Stanley in that state) Potential for Damage: The gloss finish might be more prone to scratches, fingerprints, or showing wear compared to a traditional Stanley cup. However, the good news is that my Nightfall Gloss Deco Stanley isn’t exposed to any of that yet, although it may happen soon! Advantages of a Nightfall Gloss Deco Stanley Cup (assuming it's a special edition Stanley Cup): Collectible Value: Special edition Stanley Cups can be valuable collector's items, especially because this product is well-maintained and limited in quantity. Unique Design: The gloss deco design would likely be visually striking and a conversation starter. Commemorative: If it commemorates a specific team's win or a special anniversary, it holds additional sentimental value. This Stanley cup is certainly real, there are no doubts to this. The Stanley cup can switch from a straw sipper to a water-bottle like drinking sipper. You can also completely close the hole that leads to the water for the cup. Although, the Stanley cup tends to leak sometimes, which makes sense since it’s a cup. I bought this for my daughter in law and she loves it. The hoopla you hear about lead? It’s writing on the outside and on the bottom of the cup. I never heard why the company did that but after I passed that tidbit onto my daughter in law it didn’t seem to bother her so….. I might wait and see if the company addresses that issue before buying another of these cups! But my daughter in law said it keeps things cold or hot ALL day. There are a few cups out there that say they do the same but she said this one truly is amazing! And it has a sharp architectural design to it which she loves. ... show more
