I've only had this for probably a few weeks now, but I've definitely put it to the test. I wanted a stand mixer to be able to make cookies to gift, but couldn't and didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on the pricey, popular name brand mixers. The color of this is the first thing that caught my eye (I got the purple one which really more like a pinkish purple, so pretty!) After looking at the features, the size of mixing bowl and attachments and reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. So far I am not disappointed at all. It is doing the job I needed very well. Now I am no where near a professional or even experienced baker, but it is working well for me and I have turned out dozens of cookies so far with great results and makes it so much easier than using my traditional and old hand mixer. I wanted a stand mixer, primarily to make bread dough because I have carpal tunnel syndrome and it's become too painful to knead the dough manually. I didn't want to spend 100's of dollars on a K!thenA!d so I was looking around to see what were my options. I found the Facelle brand - never heard of it. Upon comparison the Facelle actually has a stronger motor and was less expensive! It is so easy to use and clean! I love it! It easily mixes thick dough, cookie dough and cakes. I bake a lot and have switched to using the Facelle stand mixer exclusively. Previously I'd mixed everything by hand and this is so much easier. I can do other things while it's mixing. There are multiple speeds, a bowl cover so there's no splashing, and the attachments come off and go on easily. It's lightweight and easy to pick up and move, although I use it so often I keep it on the counter. It performs so much better than I expected for $100! The only thing that would make it better is if the bowl had a spout for pouring. I've had it for 2 years now and I still love it and highly recommend it! ... show more

Just got this and have only used it once, but I like it so far. Made yeast dough and with a recent wrist injury this was the only way kneading was happening. It did a good job. Seemed kind of rickety at first, but did the job so who cares? Hoping it will hold up but, at least for now, I really like it. ... show more

Purchased one sent directly to my daughter for christmas. She received it and there was some clear defects. The top portion had a huge gap at the hinge and would pop up inches higher than it should. This did not appear to be a feature of the machine but a defect. So we exchanged it for the same item, the second one arrived and again the top portion had a huge gap at the hinge and seemed very loose and wobbly. I searched around and watched a bunch of review videos (YouTube comparisons) and decided to purchase something different which actually cost less, is a very well-known brand, and had excellent reviews and comparisons when checking YouTube tutorials versus KitchenAid. 3rd time's the charm. I mixed one pound each of ground beef, chicken and pork, bread crumps, spices, eggs, olive oil and water for three minutes on setting number one and then one minute on settig five no problem what so ever....I make meatballs and burguers.
