This is my first time using mixer. I made bread! It’s worked WONDERFUL! It's quiet, stays firmly in place because of the suction cups on it's bottom, and did not spatter because the plastic bowl shield covers the entire top of the mix bowl. I like that it’s very like and has lots of variable speeds. The beaters are good. Only thing which isn’t too bad is that the bowl because it’s metal, the dough gets stuck on sides and you always have to scrape it down. I have a Bosch which i think is better than the Kitchen A. This is a great mixer. It starts with the colors available, I ordered a red one and it really livens up my kitchen. The mixer is solidly put together and sturdy but not so heavy that it's hard to move it from the cupboard to the counter. I use the mixer mostly for baking cakes, cookies, pies etc. The real test was when I used it to make my favorite cheese cake. The motor didn't hesitate.
