These are pretty mugs with a matching dessert plate for biscotti or danish. These are not cups & saucers. A saucer has a retaining dip in the middle if only for safety's sake. I plan to use them in tea-cup fountain, but they'd be lovely to drink from as well. As long as one isn't carrying the cup on the plate. I'm dead clumsy and as I was walking with them I didn't have them completely level, and both cups slid off the the plates (they are not saucers for they have nothing to retain the cup). Fortunately I caught them against me, and fortunately there was no hot liquid in them. Feel free to ignore this next as I am notoriously finicky of the feel of flatware in one's hands: The spoons feel hard-edged in my hand. But fortunately, you are most likely to buying these for the size, shape, and color of the cups, and not in order to acquire two more spoons. Ta ta! ... show more

I say small.plates,rather than Sanders as they plates don't have an indent for cups and work brilliantly for desserts ,pastries etc. The only cups a re in a modest size but more than adequate for normal.use. the yellow is clear light and uplifting. These are NOT Microwavable! They get very hot when nuked. But are good for standard use. ... show more

These porcelain cups are very nice. i like them, also because of their imperial yellow color and of course because they are microwavable and Lead Free. They are quite large (12 OZ). These SRAXZ brand cups are made of fine porcelain with high quality. it is also great that these coffee cups are not so heavy. You get 2 cups and 2 nice saucers in this package. i call them my Morning Sunshine Cups. i forgot to mention that the color of this cup is the same color imperial yellow throughout the whole cup; it is Not as on the photo where the bottom half has a darker tint to it. i like them and definitely give them 5 stars. i hope this review is helpful. I ordered these for special milk drinks to use with my new espresso machine. They are a perfect size as long as you don’t drink extra large coffee or teas. I was impressed the cups also came with spoons and tea bag filters. The color is cheery and bright but also muted and not an in your face yellow. They brighten up my dark countertops. These are wonderful little cappuccino cups! The color is extremely cheerful, and the cups are solid and well-made. They come with coffee spoons and very nice little saucers. The cups are the perfect size for a cappuccino, latte or even a cup of tea. The saucers are not indented for the cups, so you could use them as small serving plates for an appetizer or snack as well.
