    • Informative, but just a little hard to read
I like the way the heavenly bodies are shown, so you can easily see relative size of all, as well as the major moons for each planet. It is hung on the wall of my office, right over the coffee machine, so people can learn about the solar system while waiting for the Keurig to warm up. The only criticism I have is the choice of color for the lettering in the small table in the lower left. You cannot read the first column, because the blue lettering is lost in the black background. Although the black background is very dramatic and looks cool, a lighter colored background might be easier on the eyes and make the printed information pop out more. On the whole, a good "quick look" tool for initial learning -- or conversation starter! It arrived on time, and it was shipped in a protective plastic tube, which one could reuse if desired. ... show more

Was hunting for a reasonable-sized poster that depicted the Solar System fairly accurately. This was even better than I had hoped. It's a very sturdy thickness, very glossy, and the colors are superb. It arrives safely rolled in a tube, so allow time to get it to lay straight. Very pleased!

It even includes the dwarf planets and moons! It’s a high quality poster and our son flipped out when he saw it since he loves space. It’s a little hard to read the names of the planets on the chart in the bottom left since the font is a dark blue but 99% of the poster is awesome, highly recommend.

Purchased for a precociously intelligent 2+ yr old and hung in playroom, where she's already asked what the "balls are about". What's especially likeable is that it's colorful to attract curiosity now and, as she grows up and learns to read, there's progressively new STEM details to experience. Am hopeful she'll learn to enjoy, like Feynman, the "pleasure of finding things out". ... show more

I wanted to leave this review because I saw some pictures where people received theirs crumpled and torn. I was worried but figured for the price that I could risk a few folds. That was not the case. It came in a rolled cardboard tube and came out perfectly. It is not a “hard” laminate but it is glossy and sturdy. My only recommendation to people would be to try and flatten before hanging as it was rolled pretty well. ... show more
