I have tried various bats from amazon and this one seems OK. The bat comes with a nice cover and a ball. The bat is powerful and light but it does not come with a toe guard. The bottom part is already scratched after few uses.

Nicely balanced and well made, this cricket bat was a hit at the park with the kids. Kids from 9 years old to 16 used the bat and it performed well. Light weight with comfortable padding on the grip they were all able to make contact with the ball. The bat is light and with a comfortable grip. The bat comes with a bat cover to keep it safe and carry easily. Since I haven't tried the bat yet, I am not sure if it is good enough to play with leather ball but certainly a good choice for playing tennis ball cricket. I got this to learn how to play cricket. It comes with a bat, weighted tennis ball, and carrying case. The bat has a nice and sturdy rubber grip. There are a couple of stickers that are loosely stuck onto the bat, but they were easily removed. You will have to get a stump to fully play, but this was a lot of fun practicing hitting pickle balls. Definitely was different than swinging a baseball/softball bat. ... show more
