The media could not be loaded. Easy assembly, Quality of production is good. It was fun to do and the size of this set will take you ≈45 hours to make (my experience). The value is just right for a masterpiece. Lastly I used 3 in 1 glue and a gorilla glue. Some numbers on the instructions were wrong and not all letter parts were not together. I received the Slow Time Villa today and I am very pleased with this purchase. I was skeptical of the higher price than other kits available but the quality is definitely there to justify the cost. Most everything is higher quality, even the instruction booklet is thick and glossy (although the instructions themselves are only slightly easier to understand). And the pink car is just adorable.     • Cool concept, poor execution/instructions
The concept and design of this dollhouse is pretty cool and unique. However, I've made about five dollhouses and this is the only one I've had issues with (it's the first from this company). These issues include: - Missing pieces and extra unnecessary pieces - Pieces stuck together - Pieces that didn't align - I had to do a number of modifications such as trimming and cutting wood to make pieces fit and align, which in some cases also required repainting them - Tiny pictures in the instructions that were very hard to see and led to mistakes - Mislabeled pieces in the instructions that were confusing and hard to figure out because of the tiny pictures - Every other dollhouse I've made provides larger fabric and material in case you need to redo a cutout; however, for this one, the cutouts barely fit onto the material and thus leave no room for error. If you make a mistake, you're out of luck or need to improvise. - Missing or unclear steps in the instructions that required having to disassemble and redo sections. As one of several examples, the spires each need to be glued in a precise spot to make sections of the roof, railings, and pool fit. However, because the spires are glued on quite a bit earlier than the aforementioned sections and the instructions don't specify an exact placement for them, it's not clear that those other sections won't fit if the spires aren't precisely placed. This required having to remove, realign, and reglue the spires when I got to those other sections (resulting in torn decal paper showing in the previous spot). I had the same issue for other areas and also ended up having to use markers to color in spots or pieces that were torn or stripped due to the glue pulling them off upon removal. Again, this is the only dollhouse I've had any issues with. So, if you love the design and are up for an adventure, just be prepared as it's still doable (I was able to cover almost all of the mistakes in the end, it just took a lot longer and resulted in more frustration to get there). Perhaps have a magnifying glass handy, look far ahead to see how the parts will come together (or just skip around the instructions to completely cover certain rooms/areas/framing at one time before gluing anything), use online videos to fill in the blanks, be ready to customize pieces, have paint and/or markers on standby, etc. ... show more

I bought this for my daughter’s birthday thinking it would be fun to build together. It wasn’t fun. 1) Disorganized Pieces: The pieces were a disorganized mess. For any small component of the project, requiring maybe 20 pieces, expect to spend 30 to 60 minutes pulling those pieces from various random bags. 2) Poor Instructions: The instructions were written by someone with a very poor command of English, making them difficult to follow. 3) Missing Pieces: Many pieces were missing. We bought some supplies and tried to make replacements, but as the scope of the problem grew, we finally gave up. This product is a scam. ... show more
