    • Great alternative to "heavy duty" suggestions

I ordered an Apple Watch armored case and 2 bands- this one, and another "heavy duty" one. The case snapped on immediately and was a no-brainer. When the bands arrived, I tried the heavier one first. It was as wide as the case of my 45mm watch and looked kinda ridiculous. And for some reason, the lugs of that heavier duty strap didn't quite want to stay where they belonged. I took it off immediately and replaced it with this Spigen band. This band is SUPER comfortable, easy to get on and off, and looks appropriately sized to the watch. I've been using it daily for about a week, and I'm considering ordering another just to have on hand. Spigen has always made quality products, from their phone cases to their watch cases. This is no different. The feel is soft and doesn’t irritate the skin and it’s easily adjustable. Buying non-Apple bands can be a bit hit or miss. Sometimes they feel very much like second class bands. Not this one. It feels premium quality and looks good. It's vey comfortable. It does however take a few times to learn how to remove easily due to the unique buckle. But it's a good replacement for the Apple Trail loop - I got the Watch Ultra with the Ocean band which is great when it's hot as it's easy to wash away sweat and quick to dry. When this gets wet it takes longer to to dry which can be annoying if it's damp on your wrist, but if it's not hot and sweaty then this is great. Very comfortable. I really like the looks of this apple watch strap. It matches up pretty well with my new apple watch ultra and the material is pretty comfortable on the wrist. Unfortunately they designed it so the clasp/buckle thing sits about 1/2" down on the bottom side if the watch. It cannot be moved so its always right on the side of your wrist. It may be fine for some, but for me I gave it about an hour and it constantly bothered me to wear so I took it off and gave it away to a co worker to see if they like it. I will also mention, it was incredibly hard to take back off of my watch. The alpine loop that came with my watch (apple brand strap) is very easy to remove but for some reason this one took a lot of force to slide out. Also I think the ends that actually connect to the watch are plastic which doesn't give me much confidence in long term durability. Even that isn't a deal breaker though, if they put the clasp on the bottom I would keep it. ... show more

My ultra 2 came with the blue ocean band and, wow, was it uncomfortable. This band so far is very comfortable and is easy to adjust throughout the day. I actually like the look of the big buckle plus that buckle is what makes the band so adjustable in very small increments as needed.
