Everyone who owns a front load washer probably knows this by now, but they have a terrible problem with mold and mildew issues. I've had three different ones over the years, each from a different manufacturer, hoping that someone solved this issue. It's just as bad now as when I bought the first one 20 years ago. This little door prop is great. It will hold the door part way open to help it dry out. But there is a secondary use, which is the real reason I bought it. I have to take the detergent tray out after every load and take it all apart and completely dry it or it develops mold and mildew. Great design, huh? Well, clips that hold the tray together wear out from prying them off all the time. The tray is also ejected sometime throughout the wash cycle due to the wear. Sometimes the fabric softener is not used in the cycle because the tray is ejected and the water just bypasses the tray. I use this prop to bend over the front of the tray to keep it from sliding out when the machine is in use. It was an excellent purchase. ... show more

This is exactly what I was looking for to replace my DIY Velcro ribbon to keep my washer ajar after washing. This Spidfee Front Load Washer Door Prop can be bent to accommodate the preferred door opening. The material is very thick but flexible. The magnet is supper strong, in fact when it attached to the side of my washer, I had to pull it off to reposition. Keeping the washer door ajar allows the air through and dry the interior.
