    • This light convinced me to switch everything to LED

Been growing for over 20 years using HID lights and was one of the people who always felt LED's just weren't there yet. After several friends made the switch and swore by their new LED lights, I finally decided to give LED's a shot. Since buying this light abput a year ago I've done several side by side grows with this light and a 1k watt High Pressure light in my second 4x4 flower tent.. There was a short learning curve as these lights are much stronger, once I figured out that without CO2, I needed to run this light on about 75% power, this light has doubled my harvest. It's not that the buds are that much bigger than my 1k watt HID but because this light covers every square inch of my 4x4 tent with optimal lighting, Buds on the outside areas of the tent are just as big as buds in the middle of the tent. There are no dead spaces like with an HID which grows big buds directly under the light but not on the perimeter.. other added benefits are that I can pull the light all the way to the top of the tent which gives another foot + of growing height as compared to an HID in a large air cooled hood. Also my Temps dropped significantly compared to when using HID. This light draws about 730w from the wall on 100% power. At 75% power I've got to imagine it's only drawing about 550-600w as compared to my 1k watt HID. This light will pay itself off with just the energy savings alone... not to mention the doubling of my yealds.. its a no brainer in my opinion I am very impressed with this light and wish I had made the switch years ago. I've decided to buy a second LED light to replace my last 1k watt HID ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Best horticulture light on the market no gimmicky "UV" LEDS just Samsung diodes and proven red diodes in the right spectrum. Tried and proven to produce highest quality flowers with amazing yeilds on a gram oer watt basis. The light is dimmable and daisy-chainable, very bright super efficient and even on lower dial settings the light is insanely remarkable. Adjustments and assembly are easy, can't get much more simple. With this light I noticed immediate changes i growth. The spectrum is perfect for growth and flowering. Very glad I choose Spider Farmer for my upgrade. The hps was good but the led takes gowing to the next level. Four thing I noticed 1: even light distribution 2: great light penetration 3: very low heat output 4: easy on the power bill ... show more

    • Perfect Spectrum, excellent light

I have purchased a number of grow lights (5x different lights from 4x major brands) for my indoor tomato and hot pepper plants, and have been experimenting to find just the right configuration for my 2.5'x2.5' tent. I have noticed a wide array of color spectrums across this journey, from warm white, to neutral white, to cool white. The warmer tone of Spider Farmer lights has proven to be significantly better for the fruiting/flowering stage, I'm talking 25% better yields compared to some cool/neutral white lights I have used - same nutrients/plants/soil etc. That's impressive in my opinion, one of the first times I've had to give away tomatoes to my friends (they were not upset)! Though not conclusive, I think the UV on this light actually improved the overall aroma/flavor when compared to the previous lights, there was a notable difference with this light. This is absolutely a perfect fit for my 2.5x2.5 tent, it IS overpowered but since it's dimmable there are zero issues. In this size tent, the PAR reading across the board are insanely even when compared to the quantum boards I have tried (even the SF1000 and far more even than the VS P2000). the removable power supply is perfect for reducing heat inside the tent and helps keep my nutrient solution (NFT hydro) at temps that nasties won't grow. now having seen the difference between SF lights and some competitor lights and the results to my plants, i'm sticking with SF for any potential future light purchases. If you are on the fence, do it, you won't regret it. ... show more

Bright it like 3' ×3' you can dim or turn up ! You can also hook them up in a series to work with each other expensive but we'll worth it for me would definitely recommend
