The Spider Farmer SF1000D 2Pack has significantly boosted my indoor garden's performance. My plants have thrived under these lights, receiving more compliments than ever before. After previous disappointments with other brands, I am happy to have found a reliable and effective solution. However, a major drawback is the substantial heat output. This necessitates additional cooling measures, such as running an indoor AC unit specifically for the grow room. While the lights themselves are energy-efficient, the added cooling costs can offset some of the savings. Once funds allow, I am eager to upgrade to Spider Farmer's higher-end models, which promise lower heat emission. I will be sure to share a follow-up review once I am able to make the switch. Overall, the SF1000D 2Pack is a powerful light that can deliver impressive results. But potential buyers should be aware of the heat issue and plan accordingly. Some of the pros include: Significant improvement in plant growth and quality, Reliable and effective performance. Had two other grow lights in my grow tent and they worked fine but I placed this bad boy in and my plants doubled in height. For a while I kept the other two on the sides but a friend of mine recently got into growing so I gave up one. Then I noticed something pretty crazy to me. My plant started growing towards this light taller than the other half where the other light sat. I am working in a 2x4 Vivosun tent and plan on getting bigger and knew coming in that one light wouldn’t suffice for my tent size so no complaints there. I do plan on getting more and eventually I would like to get a spider farmer bar light that would cover the entire tent but that’s for another day and review. Overall know what coverage you need and get the right Spider Farmer light for you, even if it means saving for it little by little, and you are going to be happy with what you spent that hard earned cash on. ... show more

You can pack several of these into a tent for super cheap!! I only have one big problem with them. They run hot because the driver is mounted to the light panel. I would happily pay an extra $10 if it had a remote driver so they could be mounted outside the tent. Modifying them would void the warranty, but I recommend doing it!! It's pretty shocking the difference in temperature remote drivers can make. These are still my favorite entry level LED on the market. Hopefully they upgrade to the new LM301H diodes soon. These are still the most efficient lights available, though. All 4 I've bought so far draw around 105w each and output ~1200ppfd at 10" If you the price comes to over $70 at checkout it's best to wait. That's about the cheapest I've seen them so far and they hit that point about once a month. It's really not worth it to pay more unless you have to have it immediately. ... show more

Having at least heard of the company took a chance on this low budget priced light. Arrived today and set it up in the tent which is super easy. The included hangers are of super high (stainless steel) quality + the adjustable height hangers. Packaged well enough to survive a fork lift running over it, "installation" is super simple, attach hangers and plug in. BRIGHT! All LED function 100%. Very sturdy construction to sat the least.     • Dangerous. I keep getting shocked by the metal cable that suspends the light board.

Amazon won't refund me because it's past the refund window and sent me a link to contact manufacturer. Manufacturer says take it up with Amazon since that's who I bought it through. This thing shocks me really hard and seems dangerous. I emailed the manufacturer today, no response. The customer service number on the front of the booklet that comes with the model is out of service. If my cat got shocked by it who knows what would happen. The entire casing of the light panel along with the cables suspending it are metal and highly conductive. Apparently this is a common issue too, I see a lot of people on Reddit complaining about this. I want a refund as this thing is dangerous but no one will help me. ... show more
