They are a lighter blue than what was pictured, but I chalk that up to camera/computer stuff. They usually burn within an hour, and are great for any spell work.

I purchased these for the price and needed a set of 20 because I'm going to be using one every day. I was using other blue candles I already had on hand and finally pulled these out today. These are perfect for etching an intention into them. The pin I used didn't slide around, at all, and the etching was nice and deep. The candles come in a small box, not laid out in a tray. There's a thin piece of cardboard in between each row of the candles, but nothing protects the candles that are side by side. 1 white candle is mostly yellow, 1 light blue candle is mostly orange. The colors are not the vibrant, bold colors in the picture. They are translucent, and definitely skinnier than actual chime candles. The dimensions state 4.5 x 1/2, but they're skinny. They also smell bad, now overpowering, but they smell like a mechanics shop, or new tires. They were also covered in hair, I just assumed it was threads from the wicks, but it's a lot of it all over. I put mine in sea salt, pink himalayan salt, and rosemary to clean all of them. Smell is still there, and some color rubs off. I'm not returning anything, but it's not what I expected at all; 2 1/2 stars ... show more

They were actually bigger than I thought they would be. I burned two last night and the burned very smoothly with very few drips. They are spell candles with nice cotton wicks, exactly what you think you're going to get.
