  • Decent rad for the price
Let me start this off by saying I'm on my second one of these things...which probably says just as much about me as it does the rad lol. First went in 2/20/20 and second on 6/7/22 so would avoid if that bothers you. One of the tubes found a hole for no obvious reason. Could be defective, could be cheap, maybe I accidentally poked it on installation without noticing...anyone's guess. It does have a bunch of weird "hacksaw cuts" in it like others have mentioned. No idea what that's about but they don't even touch the fins so whatever. If the car lasts long enough for a third, pretty good chance I'll be back here for another. I did use a separate trans cooler this time though. Does that make a difference? Probably not but it makes me feel like it does. '90 Olds 307 if you're wondering what it's cooling. ... show more

  • 1977 GM B-body cars can use this GM pickup radiator too
Installed this aluminum-plastic radiator in a 1977 Oldsmobile Delta 88 with 350 Chevy 4 barrel with Air Cond in place of the old copper-brass radiator. All I had to do was 1) bend the driver side core support air opening baffle away from the tank a little bit so it would not rub, 2) trim the rubber mounts slightly with a knife so the wider driver side tank would fit and 3) put pipe sealer on the inside and outside of the flare and on the threads of one trans cooler line to stop a slow leak (avoids risk of overtightening and stripping the threads in the radiator). Otherwise, this GM pickup truck radiator is a near-perfect fit in the 1977 GM B-body cars with the 28 and some fraction of an inch wide factory radiator. Only weighs half as much too. The old 7 psi radiator cap still fits - just a little tighter around the plunger than it did on the old radiator. It's been on the road for a week now in 75-80 degree weather and it is working just fine. No leaks. ... show more

  • Not an exact fit but works for 71 deville
1971 cadillac deville. Everything plugged/threaded in. But the inlet and outlet holes are a little too close together. The hoses rub on the core support a little. I slammed the hood down when the radiator was hot. It hit the cap and popped the cap off and i lost all my coolant so i probably have to put thinner rubber mounts on the bottom. The picture is a manufacture defect where someone got a little happy with the saw when cutting the relief slits. I dont really care about it that much cuz it still jolds water. Another 1/4 inch and the radiator would have been useless. Maybe they should have better quality control. But for the price it works. ... show more

  • Said Out of Box, but
did not say someone cut the bracket with a hacksaw, almost all the way thru. I repaired w JB weld and some aluminum angle, and it looks OK. Still need to make sure it holds coolant.

  • quality part just wish it was the correct size for my application like fitment chart suggested
Was told it would fit my 1986 GMC 1500 pickup. fits the hole width wise but it about 2 inches to short. All the hoses and tranny lines line up to where they should be. I removed the AC condenser completely and modified those brackets to hold the top of the radiator. quality part just wish it was the correct size for my application like fitment chart suggested. ... show more

  • Fits ‘74 LeMans with 350
Bolted right into my ‘74 Pontiac LeMans. Looks good and seems to cool fine.

  • Perfect fit in my 79'
It was a perfect fit in my 1979 C-10, didnt have to modify anything! I'm not a fan of driving my truck during the Ohio salt season, but as far as having it running in my garage it seems to be functioning like a new radiator should!
