Dazzled. First and foremost, (and sorry for gushing).. but AMAZON just knocked me over with their "support after sales". I had ordered and received one radiator already, but unfortunately there was some cooling tube damage (not due to shipping, seemed to be from the Mfg IMHO) which required me to request a replacement. Well, I rarely return anything and was new to the process. I wasn't looking forward to it, not to mention the delay. But I hopped onto the Amazon and gave it a try. Long story short; click, click, click and I am sitting here writing this with a 2nd, brand new replacement radiator in from of me. I literally just requested a replacement yesterday, Friday. Today is Saturday! I'm not good at math but I believe that's called "next day service", and on a Saturday to boot. I am just knocked over to say the least. To be fair, the ETA for the 2nd radiator was for next Tuesday, which I would understand. "Stuff" does happen. So your results may vary. Things take time of course. BTW: The 1st radiator will go back pre-paid and either picked up at my door (using a pre-printed shipping label) or dropped off at the shipper, my decision. That being said, this experience will lower seriously lower my stress level ordering "on-line" (with Amazon). I just couldn't have asked for a better, low stress outcome. Amazon seriously daZzled me with it's low cost, fast ship and amazing support after sales. And we are talking about a item under $100. Ok, the radiator. Spectra? Sweet! I couldn't ask for more at this price point. Seriously glad I found and purchased this "Spectra" radiator. Would purchase again. Through Amazon of course. Sorry for the small amount of radiator details. But it just works. Can't beat that. ... show more

Great packaging but just wouldn't fit my vehicle as described

A fancy auto mechanic in Lexington, KY that I initially took my 1994 Jeep Cherokee to wanted to charge me $500 to replace the radiator with a new one. I decided to buy this radiator from Amazon instead, then wanted to add the Amazon install option for $95. Unfortunately since my main residence and billing address is in NYC, it only gave me options for New York mechanics on the install. I engaged with Amazon chat, and they said there were no installation providers in the Lexington, KY area. The fancy $500 auto repair shop said they would not install customer provided parts. So I found another place by searching online. It's called Carbajal's Auto Repair, which is a huge discount repair facility in Lexington that can repair 12 cars indoors at one time. They don't mind using parts provided by the customer. They installed it for $120! Not bad! So far so good, and keeping my fingers crossed. They did say that the hose intakes faced a different direction than the original or what not, but were able to make a minor adjustment and got it to fit. Something to that effect. I'm not a mechanic so don't know the terminology. All in all, I got this done for under $200, which is less than half of what I almost paid. ... show more

The temp sensor in a 1989 xj will not fit so you will have to wire your electric fans to a switch
