The media could not be loaded. We’re going hiking/camping with friends this weekend and wanted to buy a drone to bring with us. Ive always heard great things about having one to take scenery pictures and videos. I didn’t want to spend almost 1k for one since I’m a beginner and not sure how it was going to work out. Or, in case something happens to it. I was searching for one that’s closest to the name branded ones but budget friendly. Came across this with decent reviews so decided to give it a try. First of all, I didnt have to register the device! That’s a plus. It came with a small manual, remote control, usbc cable, audio cable, and extra wings. The only thing that I needed to do before I set it up was to charge the device (it only took about an hr), and download the app. Downloading the app was no issue because I can easily connect it to my phone. Set up was actually a breeze and took like 10 minutes because it brings you through a step by step process via the app. Once I got it set up, it was time for a test take off! It was SO easy and fun! I took it outside of the house because I wanted to try it to see the quality of the video and I was pretty impressed. The video/picture quality was clear! The flying process was stable and smooth. I cant wait to try it at night! Connectivity was great, no lags, and the battery life lasted more than 30 minutes (surprisingly) which was longer than described. Overall, the size of the drone is compact and sturdy, easy to carry around as it’s pretty light weight. The device is not super loud either; sounds like a desktop fan. This is the second drone we are having for now! I would say this is legit and fancy enough for a beginner. It is user friendly since we had one before so it is more easier for us to control. It is foldable and we are actually very excited with the good 4K UHD camera as a much nowadays. The item is pretty lightweight for you for carry on. Their battery life works great, which seems last longer than we expected as we tested for over an hour, it is still work great and speedy. So far we love it. We are still a beginner and need to practice more to be an expert. The material looks amazing and value for money. I will keep it update with a better pictures later. ... show more

    • Very smooth video and easy to fly
This drone is awesome. It is very smooth and shoots very clear video. The app is very easy to use and you get around 25-30min flight time. I flew is in a slightly breezy wind and it remained rock solid and locked in. I love the three flight modes, C-N-S, this gives you flight characteristics for any situation. The return to home works flawlessly. I've only flown this drone at a distance of 1570ft away (so far) and never lost signal. My only issue so far (and why I gave 4 stars and not 5) is the availability of batteries but I assume that will change as the drone is on the market longer. ... show more

    • No operator manual!
I just received the drone today. I've been excited to get it because it is my first one. It looks nice and well-built and I read good reviews about it. I haven't used it yet because I don't know how to use it. THERE IS NO USER MANUAL. It only has a quick start guide. Though not a terribly expensive or top-of-the line drone, it still has a lot of technical things to learn about it and I'm not going to learn how to operate it by trial and error. It's inexcusable that there is no manual with the drone. Once I get a manual, if I ever do, I will write another review about it. But for now, as a beginner, it's virtually unusable. I've read reviews where the manufacturer does not respond quickly if at all to emails, which I've sent. But buyer beware, I didn't get a manual. You might not either. ... show more

This is my first time purchasing a drone with a camera, so I can’t make a professional comparison with other models, but as a beginner, I’m having a blast with the Specta Mini GPS drone! It’s very user-friendly, and the photo and video quality is impressively clear. One feature I really appreciate is the auto-return home function—it adds a lot of peace of mind when flying further distances. The battery life is solid too; on a full charge, I can fly it two to three times before needing to recharge. The build quality is also excellent. I’ve accidentally crashed it a few times from mid-air, but aside from a few scratches, it’s still functioning perfectly! I’m also impressed by how stable it flies even in windy conditions.
