I bought the white ones, they are small, as described (and priced), smooth and soft on one side, and rough on the other. It is perfect for my very soft, thin and young looking skin. I use to use good quality microfiber wash cloths for face washing, for microfiber is soft and it cleans and it gets rid of dead skin. It was great for a while, but eventually I got tired of the "fake" feeling of it, you know, microfiber is one kind of nylon. This washcloth is made of cotton, it feels very soft and organic/ real (vs. nylon-plastic) from the beginning, and after using it for a while, it is still very soft and endearing, plus, it doesn't get hard like regular cotton towels, so I love it! Another good thing about it, is when this white cloth gets darker, I know it is the time to start using a new one, just like when a tooth brush starts to show its worn/ darker. I use good face cleanser in the morning and evenings, and this cloth still can pull out more things from my face pores afterwards! As we know, a good cleansing toner does the same thing too! So this is a great product, without any chemicals! I use a new one every month. It is more frequent than a toothbrush, it is also a lot cheaper than a toothbrush though. The next thing is, like a few reviews said, it is not a big cloth, it is not too much larger than my palm, but that is all what I need, I carefully wash my face, one side at a time, then wash the other side of my face, using my other hand. I take time to wash my face, and I enjoy the process to pamper myself. And indeed, it doesn't look "good" for any kind of displaying purpose. As I care about "result" more than the "looks", it works very well for me. And when I go on a trip, a overnight camp, this works exceptionally well for me. I can easily refresh my face in an airplane washroom, or wash off my sweaty face after a hike without using cleanser (to protect our nature environment), etc. For ladies, I think it is a very good cloth for our private place as well, just put the two cloths at two different places, or cut off the tag from one, to differentiate which is (for) what (purpose) :-) In all, I really love this product, will buy it again and again, please keep carrying this product. Original Review: Surprisingly, these washcloths are not just for babies. I bought them strictly for my face. I have sensitive skin and my face really can't handle hard materials (like regular washcloths). They are great for washing your face and removing face masks. No matter how hard you scrub, the washcloth will get the job done without being harsh to delicate skin. Also, after you wash and dry them, they are still soft and stainless. For a 10 pack, the price is cheaper than the normal 7 or 8 pack ($5.99 as of January 2011). And the material holds up really well compared to some similar priced/cheaper quality brands. I'm very pleased! Edited Review: I'm still pleased with the wash cloths and it's almost 1 year later. Some of the wash cloths have hardened a little, but still hold up well. Once wet, they're still pretty soft. But again, I use them for my face only, so I have no idea how well they would stand up if used more often or for other purposes. I wash the cloths on gentle cycle, never with other clothes and I dry them on the lowest possible setting. Sometimes I just let them air dry, depending on the day. Overall, they're worth purchasing because I'm still a happy camper! By the way, other reviews often help me learn about a product before purchasing. One reviewer said that the washcloths were not absorbent...but they are if you run them under water for more than 5 seconds. Just a heads up because they work wonderfully! Edit 2: Now it’s been about 10 years. I still love them! They do stain if you let them sit though! But overall, I’m still pleased! I never give reviews a 5 star, like EVER because nothing is perfect! But these are an exception because I can’t find anything to complain about. I haven’t bought a new pack in 3 years so it’s possible quality has gone down but based on the product I have, they’re great!
