I have been using my spice organizer system for a number of months now, and it has done its job fabulously! After struggling for decades with feeble attempts to organize a spice drawer (which also held timers and pot holders), I said, "enough is enough!" My family was informed that I was ordering a spice organizer. My announcement was met with comments varying from worries regarding the expense, simple disdain for organization of any type, declarations that things were just fine the way they were, and multiple other inane, useless reasons. When my order arrived, I was immediately impressed with the packaging; which in and of itself was quite amazing. The packaging was compact, organized, utilized every inch of space, and was extremely logically designed. I unpacked this spectacular organizational marvel with further awe and admiration. Not one of the 36 spice jars was damaged, detailed alphabetized sheets of labels were neatly packed in a cellophane bag, metal racks were neatly stacked and arranged, and a small collapsable funnel was tucked inside...almost like a little surprise! I easily layered the metal racks in my drawer with absolutely no fuss or muss. Then I proceeded to transfer my spices from the manufacturer's bottles where they lived in my chaotic and lawless spice drawer to the nice, neat, identical little jars. Soon I had established a rhythm as I poured from mismatched, branded bottles to the new spice jars carefully centering and adding the charmingly printed labels. Voila'! Once the cute little bottles were all arranged alphabetically in the strategically tiered metal shelves, the result was nothing less than amazing. Not only did the entire drawer become an organizer's dream but every spice was also visible in one single glance. The spices were lined up like little musketeers ready to fulfill their destinies! No longer was there searching, thrashing, or complaining because the desired spice could not be found without emptying or partially emptying the contents of the drawer. My family unanimously agreed that, "this is way better"! Finally after years and years, I had a spice drawer that anyone would be proud to claim as their own. The spice rack was offered in multiple iterations with the number of jars, number of shelves, and length of the shelves. Since the shelves just attach one to another in a tiered fashion, it was easy to customize the spice rack to the width and length of the drawer from the choices provided. The attractive labels adhere easily, and with 340 printed labels and 40 blank labels the names of almost every spice imaginable must be covered. The jars are made of thick glass with a snap on plastic pour/shaker top and sealed with metal screw on lids. This set is extremely well thought out and designed of manageable, sturdy and attractive components. This simple little device engenders a smile on my face every time I open the drawer. The racks hook together in your drawer easily and set the bottles at a perfect angle for use. The bottles are made of thick glass that doesn’t break when knocked off a counter onto a wood floor. (Yes, I know from experience.) They are also a perfect size to hold all the spice from a standard sized bottle from the store & come with 2 funnels to make filling easy. The labels are attractive. The pre-written labels cover an astonishing number of spices. I had no idea there were so many kinds of cinnamon! But if you have an exotic spice like piri-piri that doesn’t have an existing label, you can easily use one of the included blank labels and the included white pen to create your own. I’ve been wanting to better organize my spices. I am very happy with this set. It comes with pre made labels that are easy to read. It also comes with blank matching labels and a white paint pen for additional spices not listed. The set also came with a small funnel to transfer the spices. One bottle holds almost all of the volume of the “cheap” spices you can buy at a dollar store. Having the sturdy glass bottles also allows me to easily see when I’m getting low on any given spice. I've been looking for a way to organize my spices and finally found one that fits my needs. PROS: 1. The product was well wrapped (see photo). There were 4 boxes of jars (7 each) and there were pieces of cardboard between each jar as an extra preventative measure from breaking. My jars and racks arrived with no damage. 2. The glass jars are nice and thick. I accidentally dropped one while unwrapping and it hit my granite counter and did not break or even crack. The lids fit the glass jars nicely. 3. The jars are squared on the edges, which prevents them from shifting on the racks. 4. The labels are attractive and easy to peel from the sheets. They include an alphabetized list, including page numbers, making it easy to locate the label you're looking for. 5. There is a wide variety of spice labels (10 pages!), and many black ones for you to customize. CONS: 1. A silicone funnel is included (see photo). The spices stick to the inside of the silicone funnel when pouring into the jars. A small metal funnel would be preferable. 2. The marker included for customizing the labels leaves much to be desired. It has a very fine point, doesn't write consistently and the cap is difficult to attach to the pen. 3. The labels and alphabetized list arrived folded in half (see photo). I wish they were shipped flat instead. Overall, I love how organized my spices are now! It saves space, and makes it easy to find the spices I'm looking for as I'm cooking. Make sure you measure your drawer height, depth and width. My drawer is 16." inches wide, and as you can see in the photo I did have some empty space on the right to store additional spices. ... show more

These GLASS containers are high quality and sit at a slight angle in the drawer. They are all the same size and the included labels are clear and easy to read. This set is perfect for us oldest children who put things in alphabetical order and want everything in its proper place.
