I have had these stars for a month, and the reviews are accurate. But sometimes the issues they raise can be worked around. Yes, the stars are tiny. About the size of my thumbpad, maybe a tad larger. A handful are larger but most are not. I can't stick them on the ceiling here, but they work great on the sides of furniture and on the windowsills and such. The non star shapes (planets, rockets, sunbursts, ect) are larger than the stars by quite a bit. Yes, there is not enough poster tack for all the stars and yes you need quite a bit for the larger shapes. However once up they really stay unless the shape sticks off the edge and gets bumped regularly. And poster tack is easily obtainable elsewhere. These stars are brighter than the other set that I have. They are bright enough given that I have them hung lower down, not on the ceiling. Although I suspect they would work on the ceiling too. TL;DR: I will likely buy another set of these stars for decoration. I did buy larger ones for constallation making, but they are not as bright as this set. I did buy additional poster tack but it's easy to get and cheap so I am okay with that. They are very small but this is something that can be worked around. ... show more

Make sure to roll the putty it comes with through your fingers to warm it up and make it sticky. When pressing it on twist back and forth for a good stick. Have yet to have one fall down. Turn on the bedroom overhead light a few minutes before you go to bed to active. They work great

We got these to decorate my son’s ceiling since we just did his room in a space theme. They work as intended and there were more than plenty in the package. He absolutely loves them.     • The putty sucks
They glow fairly well. Cute shapes. They are here for a good time, not a long time (they don't glow long). The putty is awful and they quickly started falling off the wall
