I like this product, and I’ve used it frequently . I purchased three of these items, and I’m happy with them. They are soft, comfortable and well suited to the task. Their only shortcomings. Is that the fabric to pill up after a few days of wear. I am 76 years old, retired, and live in a retirement community. These are my go to uniform of the day. These are the best fleece pants I've ever owned!!! I never thought I'd say this about fleece pants, but they make my behind look GREAT :-D They even have a pocket back there, and two amazing pockets NOT set in the side seams in the front, and they are deep enough to actually hold things!!! Some people might be put off by the heavy fabric, but not me. This fabric is so soft, and the inside so fleecy--I have already put in an order for 2 more pairs!!! Warmth in the cold months when the snow is feet deep, does it get any better than that? I don't think so. Warmth when the thermostat inside is on 65 to save the heater from having to run is also really wonderful. I LOVE THESE PANTS!!! The cut of the legs is on the narrow side, so they are not for those with thick legs. I'm 5'4", and these come down to the back of my heel, so when I sit and they ride up a bit, no socks or skin will show, and they stuff inside my ankle boots, or will fit over the tops of my ankle boots. I love the marled gray. The all black ones aren't on sale, and while I think the non-sale price is fine, I prefer buying on sale if I love the color. But if the black ones go on sale in my size, I will snap them up! Hint hint to manufacturer: If you make these in more colors, I will buy them in more colors :-) ... show more

I purchased these in charcoal grey size large and I swear they are the best sweatpants I've ever owned. Fit was perfect- not too baggy, not too tight, perfect length. And I love they have a back pocket too. Material is good thickness and can work for cooler or warm temps. I loved them so much I bought another pair.... ...in navy. Size large. These are way bigger than the large charcoal grey. In a very bad way. My butt could be three times as big and I'd still have room in them. These fit like clown pants. Has enough room in the front for a decent fupa. So now what to do? Were the large charcoal grey pants undersized? Are the large Navy normal, or oversized? Who knows but I won't order another pair because I have no idea what size I will receive. I suppose I'll just wear the charcoal grey until they disintegrate and move on with my life. For the price you can't beat them. If you don't care much about your personal appearance or don't plan on wearing them out of the house I'd recommend rolling the dice. The charcoal grey are 5 stars for sure but this navy pair has me torn. ... show more

    • The perfect sweat pants. Buy these

Like most of the world, during this “lockdown”, I have become obsessed with two things: getting everything delivered to me, and wearing sweats, 24 hours a day. Both create problems. With delivery, you are at the mercy of those that shop for you. I’ve given up on ripe melons and checking the cartons of eggs… and as for sweats, well, I’ve worn out my several pairs, and have gone onto Amazon to find new ones. I’m thinking that even when I finally am able to go out into the open air with actual interaction with other human beings, I may still wear sweats. Of course the hard part is finding sweats that have the essentials: pockets, a good waist band, and draw-string, and the most important… length. Once in the past, to my horror when I brought in my sweats to be shorten (as they all did), I find that I had to take out a second on my house in order to pay for the what the cleaners proceed to be as complex and expensive as open heart surgery. All this to say that for the first time, I think in my life, I have found a company that not only makes excellent quality sweats, but actually have a chart that gives you an accurate length. It’s all about the in-seam, and no matter how careful you are with other company’s (and yes, I always measure my in-seam before each order, since who knows when and if it actually can grow or shrink), the sweats are ALWAYS too long. And I don’t mean just a little bit. I mean, it falls to the floor and covers your heals and half the bottom of your feet. Yes, you can get “closed” bottoms, but all that does, since they are also too long, is they bunch up like pantaloons’ and still, even with the elastic bottom, they also slip down under your feet after time, and after a few washings what little elastic there is in the bottoms are gone. So again, to my shock, when I got these Southpole Men Basic Jogger Pants (fancy word for “sweats”), I was first impressed with the quality of the material and the construction, but what truly made me freak out in happiness, is that, as promised in their chart, the bottoms fit exactly where they should! Just to the middle of my ankle! And this was even with the pants pulls not up above my chest, but when I had then hanging just at the waist, where they should be. Hallelujah! Yes, amazing. I quickly ordered another half dozen that should last me through the end of the world. If you want sweats, or “Jogger Pants”, that are prefect in every way, especially in that the length is where it should be… buy these. In bulk! ... show more
