Awesome lures!! Definitely lure in the fish but the hooks suck! We ended up getting a bunch and then replaced the hooks. We would catch a fish but the hooks would either bend, not stay in the fish or break off. One lure the hook broke off on the first fish. The weight of the lures is great, you can cast very far and the fish are definitely attracted to them. Just buy yourself some different hooks and save yourself the frustration by putting the news ones on as soon as you get them. ... show more

Overall I like this lure. They are solid weight in a small package. The lure casts well and has a nice eye.The drawback on these are the hooks and possibly split rings. After catching a 2 pound bluefish the hook was straight. I will be swapping the split rings and hooks and believe this will be a nice lure once that's done. ... show more

These lures worked well have caught two fish with them. However, as others have said, I’d recommend replacing the hooks because they do bend pretty easily and they do rust after a few trips in saltwater even after being washed off. But they have good action, and you can cast them SUPER far. Good for surf casting as well as boat fishing, or off a jetty etc. very versatile lure and due to smaller size a lot of species will go after it, like striped bass, mackerel, etc. also note that if the lure hits the rocks, say a missed cast, they will break so be careful with that.
