I live in SE Pennsylvania where our main type of winter weather is light snow and/or ice. I bought these to replace a cute pair of Baretraps suede booties with no traction that over the past 5 years I've pretty much destroyed. I have small fat, flat feet so my usual size is a 7 wide. I took the advice of some of the previous reviewers and bought a 7 1/2 and I'm glad I did. These fit great with medium weight hiking socks. There is virtually no arch in these which is fine with me. My toe on my longest foot is 1/2 inch from the end. They seem very sturdy and the traction on the bottom should be fine for ice and light snow (I have other snow boots for deep snow). These will be great for walking around town and running errands but not for extended periods outside because there's not much insulation anywhere but the collar. I cannot vouch for whether they're waterproof but I hope they are. ... show more

These are super cute and for me, true to size. They are a little wide in the toe area which will allow for wool socks, if desired. I did have to take the insoles out because they were too snug in the arch area. If you have a high arch I would not suggest. I have average arch and they are still a bit snug with insoles removed. I have only worn in my home but they feel like they will fit very well once broken in for a day. They are super cute for a snow boot. They say water resistant but I have not tested for that. Will update when I do. Update: comfort is good with insole taken out. Do not recommend for warmth at all. Wore to Alaska in September and feet did not stay warm at all. Had to put hand warmers under toes to make it through the trip. Great for fifty degrees and above but not for any cooler weather. ... show more

These are super cute other than that, nothing special. They seem to maybe be water proof as stated but definitely do NOT keep your feet warm, even with fuzzy socks. (It felt like -7 where I am today and my toes were definitely more cold than I was expecting them to be) As far as comfort, they’re… meh. The tongue is weird and rolls funny which makes that piece a bit uncomfortable, the laces dont really stay tight and if you try to pull them tighter it makes the tongue roll even more. Definitely lack any sort of softness and have very little support in the the insole so if you want something comfy (and warm) these arent it. ... show more

After reading reviews, I ordered size 9. I normally wear an 8 1/2. My feet tend to get warm so I don't wear heavy socks. If you want to wear very heavy socks you might want to increase the size further. Very stylish and seem to be waterproof as advertised. The support isn't the best but for me there would be adequate room to add an arch support if I wanted. I won't be wearing them for extended periods of time so I'm fine without the extra support. ... show more

    • Most Comfortable Boots I've Worn!

This was the 4th pair of boots I ordered over the past month, and these are the ones! I live in NW Pennsylvania and I'm looking for an everyday winter boot - something water proof so if I have to walk through some snow my feet aren't soaked, warm (but not snow boots warm), and comfortable and light enough to just wear everyday (not huge, thick, and clunky).
