Honestly, I love everything about these boots! They are made well they are comfortable, so comfortable. They are sturdy. I’ve been kind of sick lately, so I have needed that. I’m from a small town and nobody else around here has them. They are just showstoppers for real! They’re just beautiful. I gave them a 10 on every level. They are very warm and I get cold really easily and very small and lose heat quickly because I don’t get much. I’m so glad I didn’t go with the ones that I wanted at first because I saw that they ripped apart quickly . BUT Some time has gone by now and I had to send them back because every single thing that splashes on them stains them just two days after I got them they looked months old. I don’t know if that’s because I didn’t spray them with something first? It said they were waterproof. But they are the boots that I like the most so I’m just going to order them again and also order some really good suede waterproof spray and see if that helps I can say I wear an 8 1/2 but mostly nine and everything and I ordered a 9 1/2, I have a really narrow foot, I feel like I might want them a little smaller but I could tell if I would’ve ordered and nine I would’ve had problems with them being too small probably . ... show more

I purchased the Kinetic Conquest in Green, a size 9. I was very worried, since all the reviews said to size up. I tried it on with a mid thickness sock. There is still plenty of room for a bit thicker sock. My toe has room and is not hitting the top or really anywhere near it. They have a narrow look, so at first glance I was worried, but I think they make up in toe box height that adds to it's roominess. I had to tighten down the boot quite a bit from the original lacing that came with it. I normally wear orthotics, and there could still be some room for me to insert those. They are cosy right out of the box but not so puffy on the inside where you'd call it a " snow boot". It's definitely a hiker or everyday style to me. I have thinner feet and boney ankles, so a B width tends to fit roomy enough in most shoes, especially as I've moved from an 8.5 shoe to a 9 after gaining some weight and after kids. I have some issues with bunions, but these aren't causing me any noticable hot spots from initial fit. Nothing that crams my toes together. I was honestly pleasantly surprised that they fit so well. The reason I mentioned there are several versions of this boot.......one I tried on at Buckle.....it runs small by a 1/2 to one full size. It looks almost the same, but it's more of a sneaker. The other is the " new " version of this boot that is out in all the stores currently. It has a slightly more " space age " look, with a black plastic swoosh that runs along the heal to the mid foot. THAT version runs HUGE! I tried a 9 and my foot was swimming in it! I didn't like the changes or the look at all, so didn't try the size down. That newer version, is NOT soft like this one is on the inside. The best thing I can relate then interior of the boot, the tongue and the area around your ankle......it reminds of me a sleeping bag. I don't think the boot will be overly hot as it doesn't have fur on the inside. I do feel an arch in the foot bed ( which may be the insert ), but it's not overly prominent. Overall, I give this hiker an A+ in all areas. The color is even nicer in person than I expected. It's more of a mossy oak green, very much an earthy brown/green and will blend well with all earth tones. If you can find your size, order this boot! ... show more

    • Very comfortable perfect for Ireland trip
Needed boots for upcoming Ireland trip. Since we know rain and treking up hills will happen in Ireland. I have been wearing them around. Tried the.pn in DSW, were more expensive there, so went on Amazon and found $30 less, plus different colors. Where a size 9, and they fit with normal socks. Maybe if you plan on wearing extra thick socks size up?? When we go the weather will not be too cold. ... show more

I bought these for a trip to Utah. I’m non-outdoorsy and they were perfect for me for hiking and riding horses. They’re very lightweight, comfortable, and required zero breaking in. Highly recommend!

Love these shoes! I have two other pairs of Sorels, and these are by far the easier to walk in. Stylish and comfy, AND WARM! I would say they are true to size unless you want to wear super thick socks with them, which seems unnecessary since they are VERY toasty. I have a somewhat wide foot and my regular size fits perfect, with a little room to spare. I live in the northwest and do a lot of walking outside in the snow/ice to use public transit, and these will work perfectly for me. Don’t hesitate! ... show more

I have had these for about 4 months now. They feel like a tennis shoe and look amazing. The only thing I can complain about is that the leather part around it does come off around the toes. I found this out because I would kneel down a lot on the pavement to help my kids. Once I noticed, I was extra careful so if you do a lot of hiking or really rough, it might get scratched up over time like most leather. I would buy these again and again though! They also run true to size. I wear a solid 8 in sandals and 8.5 in running shoes or boots. It all depends on what you wear as a sock. I have owned several other Sorels and I would say the Caribou runs really big as do the Joan of Arctic. I wear a 7.5 in those! These are way more true to size. ... show more

Love these boots! I did buy a half size larger than my normal size - thanks to previous reviews! My only concern is I received them with a security tag still attached. Not sure how to remove this.
