I bought size 11. The shoe is very roomy. Roomy enough to wear two pairs regular of socks. Or one pair of really thick wool socks. I would recommend wearing it with thick socks. Becuase the boot is so roomy, thin socks mean your foot will slide around. And I found the pad of my foot and my pinky toes sore on the first day. But it felt better when I wore socks thick enough to fill the boot becuase my feet didn't move. The shoe keeps your feet warm in cold weather (I wore them in -10 C) and in the snow and rain. The biggest down side is the grip. It doesn't grip anything. So wet / icy / snowy surfaces make you feel unstable at first. It feels fine dry on surfaces. But when water is mixed in, you have to be careful because the tread is bumpy, but smooth. But it does a good job trucking it through pure snow with no problem. It's also quite heavy. I'm used to wearing converse religiously in all seasons for 10 years. So it took me getting used to the weight of this shoe on my foot a first. If you're used to heavier shoes, you will be fine. The boot is a platform. So you stand tall in it. I'm 180 cm tall and felt like a giant for the first few days. You can tuck long pants into it. Or you can wear wider pants over it. Oh my gosh, I couldn’t happier with these boots, they are great! I have had Sorel boots in the past, but never like these. They are warm, light weight, and so cute. I have worn them out shoveling snow, and doing outside chores in deep snow, and frigid temps, and my toes never got cold. I couldn’t be happier! My husband commented about the boots, said “they must be comfortable and warm because you come in and you don’t take them off”. He was right! This Sorel boot is stylish and comfortable. Definitely listen to the reviews and downsize by 1/2 size. I am always a 7 1/2 and ordered a 7 and have plenty of room for a thicker sock. I wore them to work and never changed into my shoes they have a wonderful arch support. Thry are comfy and warm. They are kinda spends but worth the money. Love them. ... show more

    • A WIDE Foot friendly boot that does not offer a Wide size.

I have WIDE size 10 feet. The real wide, the kind that makes it impossible to ever find shoes that are comfortable for my toes and pads of my feet. My cousin just bought these and though doesn't have a wide foot herself said they seemed wide to her, and showed me a picture, recommending i look at them. Sorels do not come in wide, at least these don't. I only gave them a chance because the toes of these boots look so squared off and rounded out. Because of the nature of boots and accommodating for a wide foot I did order a half size bigger (10.5) than I normally wear to be safe. So i'm not sure if a 10 would have been comfortable or not, these worked so i'm sticking with the 10.5. As I was hoping, the shape of these boots give my toes the room they need. There is a slight hug in the arch area of my foot, but it is in no means uncomfortable, though I won't be doubling up on thick socks. The Arch support isn't severe and does not bother my foot that mostly lacks an arch. Often boots are not comfortable, so it was an added bonus that these are. There is a spring to the insole and sole of the boot. Unlike many of the department store "cheap" $60 dollar boots, that feel like slabs of stone with some shoe sewn around it" The Sorels are comfortable and not too heavy.     • Super comfy, warm, waterproof and cute. Slips on snowy/icy/wet surfaces. Not ideal for snowshoeing.
Got these boots because I saw them listed on a blog as one of the top ten boots for women who snowshoe. LOLZ, okay. I snowshoed my ass off in these boots over the weekend and my feet stayed very warm, very dry. However, these run large and are wide throughout (including toe box... I literally cannot understand those who said the toe box being narrow). With the width, my feet slipped around a bit and gave me blisters on the long, long hike. If you have wide feet, this will change your life. If you have narrow feet, you may not want to use these for your athletic pursuits. I have some gnarly blisters. Another thing I find odd about these boots is how easily they slip on slick surfaces. Like, we wear these in the snow and ice, right? Why are they so slippery? I slipped (but didn't fall) in a snowy/icy parking lot a few times. I slipped (but didn't fall) on a damp floor in the grocery store. I slipped (and fell a few times) on an icy rock pile that I probably shouldn't have been climbing. But seriously, these are more slippery than I'd expect from a snow boot. Still keeping them because they're ultra comfy for walking around my neighborhood. Will not use them for snowshoeing. Hoping they become less slippery as the tread gets scuffed. ... show more

Literally my most favorite boots i have ever bought. The insoles and the most comfy i have ever put on my feet. The one thing that i was not expecting was that they are slightly a platform, i gain about an inch or little more when i put them on. def not disappointed but i was shocked. I would buy them time and time again. Definitely worth buying internationally since they are we not available nationally. Also arrived a week sooner then expect.     • Very cute and practical
I really like these boots. They are great winter boots with superb traction, warmth and waterproof qualities. I kind of wish I had bought the red because they were adorable...but the tan goes with everything so I can't complain! The only thing I would think about when comparing boots is that these are pretty short and tend to scoop snow when it is deeper. It a problem easily solved by putting your pant leg over the boot.
