So other than the shedding these exceeded my expectations. We wanted some grass and a road for my son's room with his cars bed. It all worked for us. Make sure you read a lot of the reviews as you will be turning the tiles multiple times to get them to look similar.

    • great option, but just know it's going to shed
Wanted a surface for indoor soccer practice. Easy to piece together. Currently sitting on carpet (which almost makes it seem too soft), but am thinking of moving it to an LVT area of the flooring or putting it in the garage after summer. Kids immediately started using it, but boy does it shed a lot. Have had it for a couple of months and shedding has decreased a bit. Not sure if the shedding is impacting the long term durability, but so far so good. ... show more

I ordered 2 boxes and it looked decent. Decided to expand the area. The third box I ordered was a different lower quality. The pieces where they are supposed to connect didn't have the grass to the edge so there are very noticeable gaps. That third box also was shedding way more than the other two. Like many of the other reviewers, I bought this for playground padding in our small, oddly shaped patio. My kiddo has taken some notable spills on this stuff and not gotten a scratch, including a tumble off of the slide while climbing it. It's pleasantly decorative, but sheds like crazy, especially at first. Wish I'd taken the warnings more seriously and vacuumed these before I put them out, but alas, the tiny plastic flakes are everywhere and I feel like a terrible neighbor.
