This product is made with metal poles and plastic connectors. They feel very sturdy and it was easy to put together. Without the wall anchor that comes with it I would not feel comfortable using it at all. The wall anchor uses zip ties, which we are using but these are known to be inferior as they can snap. The main reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that my husband's T-shirts (size M or L) do not fit in the hanging area (length-wise). We got this to use temporarily and our solution is to remove the lower shelf/hanging bar. This effectively halves the hanging space (and defeats the point of why we got this model). However, it will still serve our purpose because one rod is enough space for him, so we are keeping it. Another thing to know - it is a tight squeeze to get the hangers (basic plastic tube ones) onto the bar, to the point that instead of taking them on & off my husband is leaving empty hangers on the rack. This will also work for us on a temporary basis. ... show more

Let me start by saying this isn't sturdy but it gets the job done! It took me 30 minutes to assemble and had clear instructions. No missing parts or screws. This product is great affordable option and would recommend it to anyone.

This would be good for extra space in a kid's room. I can see the hanging bar bowing already and it doesn't have nearly what I needed to hang. It isn't sturdy enough if you omit the lower, long shelf so you can hang adult clothes on it. It took about four hours to put together. The plastic that the bars (that make up the shelves) fit into were multiple and progressively vile swear word worthy. The plastic that fits over the bars is cheap but does the job. The instructions were very faint and it is all pictures, no helpful information. I had all the pieces. I like the height and color and the shelves.
