    • Put your cricut between iron on and light card stock

Edit: this vinyl needs to be on a harder setting when cutting with a cricut. Putting it just at iron on isnā€™t cutting through the material enough, you have to put it between light card stock and iron on. Then is as smooth as butter with weeding. Now that I figured out the problem I have no problems weeding with this. Itā€™s a great price and works extremely well! I bought this product based off of people saying itā€™s easy to weed. It is not. Unless you have a simplistic design thatā€™s big donā€™t purchase this. Iā€™ve wasted so much vinyl because I was trying to get the design I wanted, but because the design, which was only words, was ā€œcomplicatedā€ it ripped every time. ... show more

First off, I love that you can buy so much of this for relatively cheap. That was the lure for me. Cricut is selling their BS 12x24 sheets for $14 and I got 12 feet of this. It adheres well (I use a Cricut Easypress 2) itā€™s shiny, not matte when it is pressed. The biggest problem I have is weeding this stuff.. Iā€™m using more dainty little cursive letters and it just pulls right off.. you have to be very careful when pulling it. That being said if youā€™re looking for something thatā€™s reasonable and gets the job done.. this is it. UPDATE: I put my Cricut on Glitter Vinyl setting so it'll cut deeper.. and it makes it SO easy to weed. If you don't do it, it's a nightmare to weed. ... show more

Iā€™ve always used Cricut iron on vinyl but for the value I thought Iā€™d give this a try. Iā€™m pleasantly surprised to say .... SCORE! To start, I used the same setting as I would for the Cricut brand ā€œeveryday iron onā€ and would adjust from there to find the correct cut but again, pleasantly surprised. The cut was beautiful, no adjustments needed. Weeding was very easy, no issues at all. It ironed on beautifully. Again, I used the same setting as I would for the Cricut brand. As far as wear, I canā€™t comment since I made 4th of July shirts and have only washed them one time. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. Great value! ... show more

I bought this for fire department reflective vests so we could add our department name. I was worried ordering it because 1. Iā€™m new to using this type of material & 2. I wasnā€™t sure how it would turn out. Well I am very impressed! It cut beautifully using the Iron On Heat Transfer (non cricut) setting on my Maker. The EasyPress 2 I used 270 degrees for 10 seconds then let sit a few seconds and heated again for 10 seconds. Came out beautifully! Also this material was very easy to tweed. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this product. It was super easy to weed, even the tiny details came out quick and easy. The lining side was thicker which made the ironing a breeze. Other brands have thinner lining that warp and curl up when you are trying to apply it to the material which cause the iron on to not set properly and it ends up peeling off. This even held up under extreme conditions. I wasnā€™t expecting the decal to last with what we put it thru but it survived mud, dirt and rocks and being scraped over wooden logs and didnā€™t tear or peal. Even the color stayed true. I ordered the blue and I honestly cannot wait to make my next set of T-shirts. Iā€™m in the planning stage now and once the cash flow is replenished their other colors are on my list. ... show more
