When these shoes came they stunk bad. They were in the garage for about two weeks before the nasty smell went away. They are not running shoes (at least not for me). Sole is way too thin for that. They are more like water shoes. Good support and they go on and come off easy - not slip on but would still be good for the airport and for a plane. These are comfortable and feel good. If you're just going to slip these on and go to the store, they're more than fine. But if you plan to wear these on long daily walks, they aren't fine. When my old Skechers wore out, I started wearing these on my daily 2.5 miles walks and in less than 50 miles there was a big hole in the sole (heel). I normally wear size 13. Bought size 14 for this and still too small. The shoe opening is too narrow for me. I guess everyone has small ankles. After 4 attempts to put the shoe on unsuccessfully, I ended up putting them in a Goodwill drop box. Very disappointing.
