    • I used it for the second time today and the ratchet is jammed
I used it for removal of light nuts & bolts back when I received it and when I went to use it today on light nuts & Bolt it skips a tooth the Jams the set isworthless with out the Ratchet .

This reminds of the sets they sell at auto parts stores, though the variety of bits is a lot better, and I'm pretty sure this costs a lot less than to get this many ratchet attachments in person. Everything works well and fits together securely, and I like that I can use the bits with my drill without having to purchase the adapter separately. I haven't used this with any really heavy-duty tasks, but the steel feels to be good quality, so the set is good for at least the average task; if you're trying to bust a rusted bolt free, you may want something a bit thicker/heavier, though. ... show more

This is a 1/4" drive set with both metric and imperial sizes and focuses on sockets smaller than 9/16" and 14mm. The 72 tooth ratchet means that you only need to have enough room to swing it 5 degrees or so which makes it great for tight places. The set has a great array of sockets and bits with most of them being useful sizes. The hex/Allen bits are all in metric sizes so you would need a separate set of bits if you worked in imperial sizes of those. One thing to note is that the set does come with a 6" extension - it is just not as obvious as the 2" and 4". If you look at the screwdriver handle (called the spinner handle in the specs), it has been created by overmolding a 6" extension. The female end is exposed on the bottom and you can use it just like the other extensions. You can also use the ratchet handle in combination with the screwdriver if you needed extra leverage to break a fastener loose. This is a great office/around-the-house set. ... show more

Fits under the seat of my truck. I keep a plethora of tools scattered around in my pickup and I will say that this little 1/4 set is probably one of the most practical ones. As everyone knows, 10mm is the dominant size bolt of any modern vehicle. The bits and hand driver driver allow this to be used for almost every application. I have an old Craftsman set that only has 1/3 of the options that this set has. Priced the same as my small Craftsman set too! ... show more
