He is 2 years old and loves to have his head massaged so I thought I'd purchased this for him to keep his beautiful curls moisturized. What I have noticed is that it just takes a small amount to work. He doesn't have tangles so no problems there. It just keeps his hair moisturized and beautiful looking. I like this product for soft curls - it's like a light, leave-in conditioner. I wish it came in a better spray bottle - this one is not great and I find a lot of product goes on the floor and makes it slippery! I usually spray it in my hands and run it through my curls. It's pretty watery and seems like you could get the same result just mixing conditioner with water. But it smells nice and is a light curl refresher. ... show more

Full disclosure, my hair is mostly fine and straight with random super curly strands; I was looking for products to help me nourish and protect my hair after discovering multiple very bad split ends (pretty much all of the types you can find in an Internet search). Right now my hair is a couple of inches past shoulder-length and I wash it once/week. I moved from San Diego to South Carolina and my hair developed the worst split ends I have ever had in my life. Before, I didn't even know there were more types than the simple small, traditional split. Now I unfortunately have experience with ones like the triple, feather, tree, incomplete, and double y. One of the suggestions I found for helping to prevent split ends was to make sure you keep your hair nourished and well-hydrated. I don't like applying straight oil to my hair - I may be doing it wrong, but it always makes my hair look very greasy. I found this spray with many oils and other great ingredients and decided to give it a try. At first, I didn't see much improvement. However, I've been using it almost daily for a few months now, in combination with a weekly hair mask, and the regular use makes a big difference. How I use it: Before I brush my hair, I do 3 squirts into my palm, rub my hands together, and massage into the top of my head where my part is (the most frizzy area). I do another spray into my palm, rub, and massage into the crown. 3 more squirts with the same application on my scalp at the sides and back, then 3 more to rub and scrunch into my roots. I'm not sure if this is how much you are supposed to use, but it works well for me. It also helps to add volume to my hair. I spray it into my palm first (suggested by another reviewer) because spraying directly on my hair kind of sucks - too goopy and it weighs down my hair instead of helping to lift it. I also don't shake it - I tried it once and, true to what other reviewers said, it goops up and doesn't spray nearly as well. A different sprayer might help with that, but it seems to be good without shaking, so I just don't anymore. I'll likely repurchase this when I run out because it has made a noticeable improvement in my hair's health and frizziness and is a good refresher between washes. ... show more

We finally found a great curl product for our toddler. She has fine hair, but beautiful little ringlets. This product has been great to revive her hair after a nap or in the morning. I’ve tried other curl creams, but they were too heavy. This is light weight and smoothing. It smells wonderful too.

the product itself works great on my daughters hair, but the bottle came broken and isn't able to spray. I can still make it work but it would be much easier if the spray bottle top worked
