Description

Smittybilt 612802 M1 Front Trunk Bumper for Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 have helped to set the standard for all truck bumpers to follow. Each M1 bumper is manufactured out of 3/16 inch cold rolled steel with 1/4 inch mounting plates. It is powder coated in Smittybilt 's signature series two-stage matte black finish. Each M1 bumper comes standard with 7/8 inch solid D ring mounts, ultra bright driving and fog lights. It also has a winch mounting system that can hold up to a 16,500 pound winch.

Why am I rating "Sheerness" WTF....I want to rate the rating parameters..... anyways. Quality bumper with horrible packaging. Parts came loose in the box and banged around chipping the finish in a half dozen spots. A little touch up paint took care of what I'm going to beat up anyway but still it's frustrating. Had to modify some plastic body shrouds ro get it to fit but it looks good. Will have to channel Harry Houdini to get the winch installed from the underside as designed. Top access would have been my first choice. At least no one is going to "requisition and relocate" my winch while it's parked outside. ... show more

Bumper seems to be quality. It did appear to extend further out of the front of the truck then pictured but I still liked the outcome. Be careful who you have install the bumper because I got ripped off. Installed on a 2016 2500 Ram Cummins diesel they told me they had to drop the intercooler in order to get it in but the bumper comes with intercooler brackets it was part of the install. ... show more
