  • WP version fits differently than the non-WP version
Color: Coyote Size: 11.5 Wide
I bought the non-WP version of the S&W Breach 2.0 boots five years ago. They were very light weight and fit like running shoes. I wore them all the time because they were so comfortable. They also provided great arch support which for me prevents knee pain. I decided to buy a backup pair and saw that there was now a waterproof version available, so I bought the WP version. When I received them, I found out that they are not constructed the same as the non-WP version. They are heavier and fit more like traditional hunting boots. The arch support is not as good and they are not as comfortable mainly due to the added flap adjacent to the zipper to prevent water intrusion. Overall, these are still very good boots, but I'm going to save them for snow and rain days and buy another pair of the non-WP version for every day use. ... show more

  • Fits well and comfortable
Color: Black Size: 11 Wide
Nice looking, waterproof, and comfortable. The only thing I'd add is furry lining so they could be worn without socks but still nice. These will be my cold/wet weather boots. I like the high tops

  • Good boots, rough first couple of days.
Color: Black Size: 11
I bought these boots to replace my last pair that lasted me 5 years. So far they are a pretty good pair, they fit perfectly and they are pretty comfortable, though I do suggest shoe inserts if you walk a lot. The only issue I’ve had so far is with with the loose flap under the zipper. The first 2 days with these boots were rough as it’s pretty uncomfortable on the legs and ankle bone. This did fix itself on the third day of wearing them but those first two days were rough. Supposedly they make the boots more water resistant though I have not tested that myself. Overall a great pair of boots though, I hope they last me another 5 years! ... show more

  • Seem well made, but leaves some to be desired.
Color: Coyote Size: 10.5
I learned long ago not to expect the same quality in non-firearm products with a firearm manufacturer's name on it. I bought these for summer construction work to take the place of my 10" Carolina logger heels, which I love but are hard on my knees if I have to walk a lot. Out of the box, my first impression was good. Looks well constructed and has an overall good look to them. After that, it was down hill. I'm 6'3, 190lbs, 10.5 boot. Not exactly tree trunks for legs. I had to work to get my foot in the boot using the zippers. The gusset is there to aid in waterproofing, I'm sure, but it really limits the ability to slide them on. The ankle to mid lace is pretty "generous" to help you get in them, but once you're in, that area is too loose for me. Tying the laces tighter makes entry with the zipper impossible for me. I found a (not so) happy medium for now. I have pretty decent arches, but the soles of these, while padded, are as flat as a piece of plywood. I bought insoles and it helped not only with arch support but also with overall fit. The last thing I was less than impressed with the tread. While good in dirt, rocks, etc, I about ate it big time on wet smooth concrete. I'm sure any oily surface would be interesting. The good. They're pretty light. With the insoles, I feel good after a full day walking. They're cool. My feet dont get hot. The shank puts up with shovel work well. They're waterproof enough that morning dew in the grass hasn't gotten through yet. They do seem pretty well made with decent materials. With the exception of the waterproof aspect, i liked my last pair of cheap LA Police Gear side zips. They were half the price. Probably wont buy again UPDATE: After a year and a couple months of daily 8 hr+ wear, theyre holding up really well. One of the lugs tore off the bottom while climbing in a piece of equipment and theres a small tear on the right one where it creases when the toe flexes. Thats it. Im adding a star. Im gonna retire them from daily use when the snow flies, but will keep them around for around the farm use. ... show more

  • My pros and cons
Color: Coyote Size: 12 Wide
Pros: • Feels like they will endure the abuse they'll be put through, hopefully as long as my combat boots did. Time will tell. • I love the cushioned midsole. It makes for a quieter and softer step. • The zipper looks and feels durable. • The zipper tongue allows me the freedom to wear them slightly but not overly loose, if I choose to. • Wide enough for my hobbit feet. Cons: • Longer than I expected given the size recommended, but hasn't been a big issue yet, and I wear them 12+hrs/day every day. • I wouldn't call these hot weather boots by any means. I suspect they'll feel better as winter boots. For that reason alone, I'll be trying another hot weather boot eventually. Tip: Fold the zipper tongue in front of the lace tongue or towards the back of boot for best comfort. All things considered, I recommend these boots. ... show more

  • Glad I tried these!
Color: Black Size: 10.5
Glad I tried these! I was looking for a new pair of boots because I work in a tough feild and on my feet all day. Need something that is both comfortable and waterproof. I go thru a fair amount of boots in my job and just planned on buying one of my regular go-to boots when I stumbled on this Smith & Wesson pair on Amazon. I didn’t even realize there were Smith & Wesson boots out there. I’ve been a long standing fan of their guns and the price was right, so I thought, why not? Decided to give em a try. Glad I did. I can’t believe the price because they are really comfortable and they have been keeping my feet 100% dry all day. I can tell you not all waterproof boots keep your feet dry! These seem to be good quality like the other boots I buy but a lot cheaper price than those. Got them delivered quickly, no problems there. I like the Smith logo on the boot heel also. Nice touch. If you like the brand of guns like I do, you should check these boots out. I would definitely buy them again. I will see how well they hold up over time, but I think they will be good for everyday use. So far, they have been great. I would recommend them to anyone working on their feet all day and in harsh conditions like I often do. I think I found my new go-to boot. Now I should probably should go get me another M&P to match! ... show more
