I received my costume today and it is fantastic! It fits beautifully and has a lovely dragging train like Morticia would wear. I'm 5'9" and there's probably a foot long train on the ground. If you're short, plan for heels. The bodice is not as low as the picture looks but still nice. I didn't want to poke anyone's eye out with cleavage as this is for a family involved, work function. The fabric is much thicker than I expected for the price. Its good quality and fits so well. It looks wonderful and I'm so excited to wear it! I will add that this needs to be ordered early. I ordered it on 9/14 , it shipped on 9/18 and I received it 10/4. It is shipped from the U.K. I contacted the seller when I hadn't received it by the expected by delivery date and they told me that Amazon actually picks that date, not the seller. That seems hard on the seller to me as the package has to go through customs and the seller cannot predict any delays there. The seller was very nice and replied very quickly to my questions. Great price & Good quality. The dress is not see through , doesn't itch, silky feel, fits me perfectly . Length is long I am 5"4 & wearing 6 inch Stilettos in this picture. No need for alterations which, I really love ! This is still in progress for next Halloween, but I could not resist some 'Halloween Christmas cheer' & a quick try on/photo. We are very excited for Halloween 2020 ! Will update next year with better pics . Perfection . Update ! I was afraid because of weight gain as I bought this last year, that I wouldn't fit into this. I did ,very forgiving and still flattering. We did a trial run on our costumes this year and had fun doing a trial run. This has stretch. Still giving this a 5 star review ! As I am petite I had to have it pulled up about 2 inches to fit where the seams hit. I also had to cut the bottom as it was longer than what was shown and I would trip. Otherwise it’s a good maid costume for those who are not so petite. I’m 5ft 2 115 lbs.

I'm not really sure where to start with the review for this. It's getting 2 stars for multiple reasons. I'll start out with the first one: The dress is meant for someone that's 6'5", otherwise you'll have a tail on the end like a 10 ft train on a wedding gown. That's not exaggerating. I ordered this for my wife, who I think is the average build/height of women. She's 5'8" and this wasn't even close to being in the range for this dress. Next up is the laced sleeves; These aren't a bad option for the costume she was going for (Morticia Addams), however, there's an awkward cut down each one , that makes it seem like your arms go through, but then they're not meant too? Her and I couldn't figure out if this was a manufacturer defect, or how it's actually supposed to be. Regardless, we're now less than a week out from our party and I don't have time to wait a month to ship it back to the UK and "hope" I get a replacement in time. Third of all, this dress from this particular seller, do not expect to receive it in a timely manner. It took EIGHTEEN days to get it. Oh, and you won't get any tracking information as I quote from the seller's email "This paid shipping doesn't cover a tracked service." - which I find bonkers. Long story short, don't waste your time unless you have a sewing shop set up and can alter the many things it'll need. (Who am I kidding, if you've got a sewing shop, you wouldn't be buying this anyways). ... show more

This dress was surprisingly good! Pretty cheap material but not as bad as some Halloween costumes and I liked it way better than the other Morticia dresses out there. It fit well. I'm 5'6" and average weight and it wasn't too loose or too tight. It was pretty long, though. With 4-5 inch heels it wouldn't be ridiculously long, but I didn't wear shoes most of the night and it was definitely trailing after me quite a bit. Not a huge deal since Morticia is known for her slinky/long dresses. Also, be forewarned that it will show cleavage. That fits with the Morticia vibe as well but you could always safety pin it for a more modest look. Overall, it worked great! ... show more

I really like this costume but i wish it come in extra small because as you can see, it is huge and super long (i already cut it twice) but for the price still a good deal. I plan to wear a belt just so it’ll stay in place and don’t drag. For reference i’m 5’4, 123lbs and i ordered a small.

The costume is long as stated in other reviews (I am 5'7" and it is still very long on me). I was able to get the leg slit sewn shut because I wanted to have more of a Morticia Addams shape to the dress. The look is nice but the material is definitely the typical thin costume quality material. I feel that I got fair quality for the price ($20) but I do wish it would have been made with a thicker, nicer material. ... show more
