This power stick is the real deal. It has so many different uses. So first thing is first. Yes it charges your osmo. I used it for some video recording I did that took about a couple hours and the stick maintained it charged. I like that you can use it by itself as a charger for the osmo pocket or you can change the adaptor and use it with your phone and it comes with a grip to hold your phone and the osmo. It’s a really solid build and I appreciate the fact that you can tighten your phone via the screw and it holds your phone with a kung fu grip that won’t let go of your phone, so feel comfortable waving the stick around and rest assured your phone will not fall off. Also comes with 2 cables. One for charging the stick. And the other to charge your osmo if you have it in phone grip mode. Overall it’s a nice addition to your arsenal. I even connected my microphone and stand to it and it worked great. The stick feels of premium material but it’s just metal with a rubber coating but man it feels really good. Please check it out. Works as advertised. I have used it many times and have been able to shoot all day with no problems. My tip is this: Try to only charge the Pocket 3 when you're NOT shooting. You can charge it when shooting but the camera gets VERY hot. I just pull the USB C cable out of the pocket 3 right before shooting and then plug it back in when done. ... show more

This in an invaluable accessory for the Pocket. I purchased it for the trip of a lifetime to London. I didn't want to have to worry about battery life with the Pocket itself. This battery made sure I never had to, even when using the Pocket frequently throughout the day, and then taking an hour long timelapse. The cell phone adapter also makes for a very solid complete unit. I never had to worry about either the phone or the Pocket wiggling loose and falling. The fact that this kid was sold by Smatree clinched my purchase since I have a variety of other products by them and they are always well made and dependable. I used to have the original Osmos and loved it, your display was your phone. The new smaller Osmos display is almost impossible to see on that small screen. I would end up on occasion not getting the footage I thought I was focusing on. The Smatree hand-held Battery charger and Osmos iPhone holder remind me of the original Osmos and I love it. I bought it in United States and I am now in Canada. tried to connect to my Osmo Pocket 3, but the 2 side hook like clips on this battery that connect to the Osmo 3 do not work. If one side snaps and locks the opposite side clip does not lock. No matter how many time I have tried. I have the original extended battery from DJI that is just so easy to snap in. Now I am stranded with a very defective product and unable to use my Osmo 3 for extended time shoot. Unable to return it back at Amazon USA, and I don't think its possible to do a return in and Amazon CA . Extremely disappointing. ... show more

Battery life is amazing and it overall is built amazingly well, helps stabilize footage even more and isn’t that big to fit in my small camera bag.
