We absolutely love this mirror! It comes with its own switch/dimmer, which was perfect for our application. Others have noted that dimming function does not work if hard-wired to a external switch (not our case). It does require you have electric available behind the mirror.

    • Fantastic mirror/very difficult installation
The media could not be loaded. I bought the 36X36 and have mixed feelings. Don’t get me wrong, the mirror is amazing. Also, I cut the plug and hardwired into bathroom existing wires, but it is very difficult to install! The precut mounts are a specific distance apart and there is NO wiggle room. I ended up going to Lowe’s and bought 14guage 36inch steel welding bar. Drilled holes into the bar and mounted the mirror to that. I drilled the steel bar to the wall studs. Also the directions are no help. It shows a different mirror with for pre-drilled holes and it is not that way for this type. It was an all day project. BUT the mirror is fantastic. ALSO IT WILL REVERT BACK TO PREVIOUS SETTINGS. This is awesome because I wanted to turn off the switch in the bathroom and all lights turn off. When I turn the switch back on the mirror goes back to the same setting for the bathroom. ... show more

    • Clean, modern look. Easy to install. Provides reasonable amount of light.
Purchased 2 mirrors and hung vertically over a dual sink vanity. The mirrors arrived undamaged, with very good packaging. Overall quality is very good. The back of the mirror (frame, housing) is all sturdy, white plastic. At first glance, I wasn't completely happy with the look but once installed, you don't really see the back or sides very much. The mirrors come with a plug so if you want to hard wire, then you would need to cut off the plug and do some electrical work. My original plan was to hard wire but it was actually easier just to install an outlet into my electrical box and plug the mirrors in. The back of the mirror is recessed so you have room for the plug and excess cord. The mirrors are very easy to install. 3 screws to mount the top rail and the mirror hooks right in (and you can slide it side to side to fine tune the alignment. In terms of the lighting, I'm still on the fence about whether these give off enough light to be used as a make-up mirror. I have 2 main recessed lights and didn't install any wall lighting/sconces hoping these would provide enough light...need more time with them to make a final judgement. I have yet to install in the bathroom I’m remodeling but I tested both when I received them and they appear to work out great from what I can tell so far. For those who say you have to hook them to a switch to turn off and on, that’s not true. If you just touch the “button” it will turn off and on. Update. Finally installed in the bathroom and they look great. I decided to just plug in since touching will turn on and off. However the heater for the defogger never shuts off this way. Guess when designing things I should have installed a switch. So now we’ll see how long the defoggers last being on all the time ... show more

This lighted mirror is really great. Much more cost effective that others listed, and works precisely as described. It is such a better option than the typical side lights for a makeup vanity. My only complaint is that I do wish the light was just a tad brighter. It is perfect if I have all of the lights shut off in the bathroom except the mirror, but when daylight shines in this doesn't work as well and the light seems a little dim to highlight the imperfections I'm trying to cover up! I Was looking for a lighted mirror that could be controlled by a wall switch. This is one of the few that I found that work like that. I bought two of these mirrors and mounted them side-by-side over a double vanity. They look great. They provide bright light that is perfect for people applying make up. They are not bright enough to light the entire Bathroom. So I will install the vanity light above them. They remember the last brightness settings that you had set. Installation is not difficult. But, it take some planning to make sure that you mount them High enough to clear your faucet. ... show more

The mirror appeared to be exactly what we were looking for to hang in our bathroom remodel. Although, we examined it for any damage when it arrived, we didn't consider that it might have poor quality mirror clarity. The mirror itself seems to be reflect back unclearly -either it was poorly made or not thick enough. We just know it's not useable. Additionally, the light isn't powerful enough. Unfortunately, because we purchased it at the start of the remodel, the return date had passed when the contractor was ready to do the finish work. We couldn't be more disappointed. It should have been a focal point, but we will now have to buy another mirror and have it installed and throw this one away.
