I love the look and feel of this "tweed"-like fabric, very classy on my music workstation desk. Magnet is quite strong and works great, and the base has a good weight to it so there's no tipping over. However, as other reviews mentioned, the top surface area where you actually place the cables is strangely small – if we're wrangling cables here, seems like there should be room for many, right? I've found only 4, maaaaybe 5, fit comfortable on top. Thankfully that's about all I need, but wish there was more room to space them out. If you're trying to fit more than 5 cables – or have some thick cables to wrangle – this might not be for you. Tip to the manufacturers: there's no real magnet on the sides you can rely on, that would have been an incredibly easy add and would 4x the amount of surface area you could place cables!!!! ;) ... show more

I purchased this product in August 2020 and I love it. So nice not to have to search the floor for my cable ends. Someone else mentioned there wasn't enough magnetic "oomph" to hold a laptop cable, but I have not found that to be the case for my Dell laptop. Although the cables will hold magnetically by themselves, I like the use of the collars. By staggering them strategically on your cables, you can make a lot of room on the somewhat small surface area. I'm not criticizing the small size as I didn't want something that was going to take up and entire side table. I'm just finding more uses for it. I've contacted the company about purchasing more magnetic collars. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is exactly what we needed in three living room to keep all the cables from constantly falling behind the coach and chair. This way too I didn't have to stick or glue anything to our nice table. Super easy to use and looks really nice. Blends in with the decor. I got myself a new night stand and a new holder for my phone. Naturally there was no where for the cords to hook when not plugged in. I got this because it doesn’t glue to my furniture and won’t ruin my new nightstand. It has the added benefit of holding more than one cord at a time. Now I won’t be digging my cords out from underneath the bed (or wrestling them away from my cat who likes to chew on stuff in her domain). I’m very happy with this. I’ve had this for 2 days and already love it. I actually had this in my cart for over a year moving it back and forth between in my cart to purchase and save for later debating if I really needed it and if it was worth the price. I finally bit the bullet and purchased it. I wish I had done it sooner. I no longer have to try to find the cord end of the cord I want by digging through the mound of cords on the floor. Pros: easy to use, looks stylish, iPhone charger cables attach magnetically with ease, it came with little clips you could attach to cords which aren’t magnetic or have enough magnetism, packaged in a nice cardboard box so it looks nice as a gift, has an anti-slip bottom so it won’t slide around on and takes up little space on my bed side table. Cons: I still feel it’s a little pricey to buy it for myself but I’d have an easier time buying it as a gift for someone. ... show more

I have two cords by my bed. In order to keep them where I coudl reach them, one is messily draped across my bedside table (and always in the way!) The other one lays on the floor under my bed - very hard to get when I need to use it!! Then I got Smartish Cable Wrangler!!!! What a wonderful surprise. A small magnet is provided and all you have to do is easily attach to the cord/cable. Then you just put it on top of the Wrangler and the little magnet attaches itself to the Wrangler. The magnet is just strong enough to stay attached to the Wrangler without having to play tug-a-war with it when you want to detach it from the Wrangler to use. This has got to be the best invention since…….well, you know! My husband keeps his phone on the nightstand and charges it over night. This little gizmo keeps the wire from dropping down behind the nightstand or falling behind the headboard during the day when he unplugs it. It’s cute, just the right size, nice color (charcoal) and it keeps the wire exactly within reach but at the same time out of the way. I plan to order a second one for the tangle of wires I use to charge my phone, iPad and earbuds. And this is now on the top of my Christmas giving list! Well done, people! ... show more
