  • Great budget watch option, with impressive feature set.
This watch is an upgrade for my previous "budget" smartwatch. My older model couldn't control music nor answer calls-- both features that work on this watch! The battery lasts several days on a full charge, even when Bluetooth is enabled. I've had Garmin GPS watches previously that hardly lasted 3 days before dying, unless Bluetooth (and also almost all the basic features) were turned off. This is no longer an issue for me. The different watch faces are pretty varied and there should be at least one that meets your fancy. If you find more than one you like, it can rejuvenate the novelty of looking at the watch. Speaking of which, the "raise your arm to turn on the watch face" feature is so simple, and probably common today amongst watch products, but is invaluable to me at work, where I may not be able to touch the power button in order to check the time. The charger is a magnetic-style connection to some flat anode/cathode (I assume) pads on the bottom. The other end is USB cable, which works with those power adapters everyone has 10000 of from various phone upgrades throughout the years. I am unsure how I feel about the magnetic charger, as I often accidentally disconnect it. If you place it on a safe surface while charging, it shouldn't be a problem. The app is pretty decent. There are a few grammatical/word choices that lend a non-native English feel. For example, when the watch is first received, and you power it on (mine came fully charged! which was great, otherwise I would have had to wait a bit), it asks you to scan a QR code in order to initiate the connection with your phone-- it says "Scan to bind", which is I guess accurate, but a slightly strange choice of words, as I wasn't sure if this meant bind the watch to some sort of account with the company, but it ended up just leading me through the steps to get connected with my phone. Quite a simple process, if you'll trust it and have some patience in providing it with permissions to manage your calls, read messages, etc. It can seem pretty alarming how many permissions are required, but considering the invasive nature of a machine that interfaces with your phone and accesses data, it's not surprising. One pointer-- in order for the watch to manage your music, you must enable that in a separate settings menu in the App Settings. If you do so, you may need to update the watch or disconnect and then re-connect your watch to your phone to have it work. I haven't used the calling feature on the watch much as I don't like the idea of answering and conducting personal calls on my audible watch... but when I tested the feature, it was snappy and the audio quality was surprisingly impressive. It comes with an array of biological sensors such as heart rate, O2 levels, "stress levels" (which said I was not very stressed despite racing to meet work deadlines), sleep analysis, etc. These seem reasonably accurate, although the true test will be to see how the patterns cycle and emerge over time. Overall, I'm very happy with this watch. I never expected it to be "an Apple Watch", although it looks fairly similar and I'll enjoy correcting people if they ask. ;) It's a very reasonable cost and not unlike the cost of a watch I might have considered before the whole "smart phone era" anyway. Best of all, it can operate off phone WIFI, so you don't have to justify a ridiculous "extra data line" cost from your local, greedy mobile carrier. ... show more

  • A smartwatch worth the price!
I've had this smartwatch for a week and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed overall. When the watch arrived I charged it to 100% and after a week, it still has 42% battery. That's with weather, HR, messaging, and sleep tracking turned on. The build quality feels solid and is on/above par with other watches in this price range. However, the screen is larger and has a responsive, vivid display. I would have liked to see an 'always on' option at the sake of losing a little battery life. There are quite a few options for watch faces, which is nice. I was able to take a call using this watch and it worked very well. The person I was talking to had no idea that I was using the watch. So, I'm assuming they had no issue with call volume. One problem I had was with this watch not displaying MMS/group texts, which defeats the purpose of subtly checking a message. Pros: Display size/vibrance Battery life Able to use watch to answer calls Plenty of sport modes (even Pickleball!) Cons: No 'always on' option Not displaying MMS/group messages This watch is a very decent option in this price range and I'm looking forward to seeing future models. ... show more

  • It stopped working completely after 8 months
It is what you pay for I guess! I really expected to be able to use that watch for years but I was wrong!! 6 months of good use before it started to malfunction and today it doesn't even turn on. I got a deal because it was only like 20 but if I paid alot I'd be very upset

  • One of the better smart watches on Amazon
This is my third smartwatch purchase and this particular model works very well compared to the other two I own. The screen is clear and bright, it's very responsive and the user interface on the phone and watch seem very well thought out. The choice of fonts used is very modern, easy to read and classy looking. Bluetooth connection to my phone is fantastic, I can be on the other side of my house without disconnection. Phone calls are clear but you do have to hold the watch a little close to your face for the person you're talking to can hear acceptably. Application and SMS notifications are instantaneous, and surprisingly text quick replies work great even if you don't use the phones native SMS app. Battery life is wonderful out of the box but can be improved by turning off "raise to wake" if you don't mind pressing the button to see the time. Dial faces are very attractive, there's plenty to choose from. Heart rate, O2 and sleep monitoring seems pretty accurate as well as physical activity. The find phone and find watch feature is invaluable if you misplace your devices often. The only quirk or drawback I've found is the weather feature. It gets the forecast via GPS position on your phone which should be accurate, but even though the app has an exact position, 50% of the time it thinks I'm in Tennessee or Saint Louis when I'm in Pennsylvania. One thing I really like about this watch is some of the most important features or settings can be changed or adjusted on the watch itself rather then being dependent on the phone app for everything. This smartwatch is a great value especially at the current price with $7 off coupon. Honestly it's worth much more than the asking price since it works so well. ... show more
